Alabama will host two official visitors

Daevin Hobbs, five-star defensive end from Robinson High School in Concord, North Carolina, and Jordan Hall, four-star defensive tackle from Westside High School in Jacksonville, Florida, are the official visitors for the Tide.

Hobbs revealed a November 25 commitment date earlier this week. It’s a date he has mentioned (as a possibility) throughout the last few months. Hobbs took an official visit to Tennessee last weekend. He will take an official to Georgia (vs. Tennessee) on November 5. The Volunteers currently lead according to the the On3 Sports Recruiting Prediction Machine.

Hall’s interest in Alabama is starting to grow after the Tide recently turned up the heat in his recruitment.

Five-star duo returning to T-Town

James Smith, five-star defensive tackle, and Qua Russaw, five-star linebacker from Carver High School in Montgomery, are also slated to return to Tuscaloosa for the game against the Bulldogs. The teammates were also in town three weeks ago for the Tide’s home win against Vanderbilt.

The state’s top two recruits are fresh off an official visit to Florida. A decision will not happen until December with both expected to select the same school. Russaw and Smith have also visited Auburn (3x) and Alabama State this fall. They are expected to visit Georgia and Ohio State in November.

Decisions coming soon for a few top juniors

Julian Sayin, the No. 4 quarterback in the country according to On3 Sports, is expected to decide sometime in November. His trip to Alabama is likely his final visit before the announcement.

“I want to get the atmosphere’s whole feel this weekend,” Sayin told On3 Sports earlier this week regarding his second visit to Alabama. “I want to see what a game day is like. What is it like with students there? This visit will show me a lot. I will take it all in. From the fans to the campus to everything Alabama is about. It will be a big one.”

Sterling Dixon, Top-100 linebacker from Mobile Christian in Alabama, attended the Tide’s season opener against Utah State. He recently revealed a December 1 commitment date. Alabama, Auburn and LSU are currently considered the three schools hoping to add the in-state target to its future roster.

Kavion Henderson, four-star edge from Leeds High School in Alabama, will announce his decision on November 6. Henderson has been a regular in Tuscaloosa while attending most home games this season.
