Summer camp SZN is here.

The Gators hold their opening session under new coach Billy Napier on Monday, the first of five one-day camps this month.

Florida has additional one-day camps on June 8, 13, 15 and 20. UF will also have a specialist camp June 12 and a DL/OL camp June 23.

These camps are an opportunity for Napier and his staff to get recruits on campus for in-person workouts and see how they respond to coaching.

The camps will help the coaches build their recruiting board for 2024 and 2025, as well as potentially find some diamonds in the rough for the 2023 class.

Florida is also having a 7v7 tournament, Swamp Shootout, on June 22. That event should produce a huge turnout for recruiting.

Here’s what the one-day camp entails:

This camp is for all position players who are entering the 9th grade and above. Camp will feature instruction that provides a solid foundation in football fundamentals and the skills required to excel at your position. Campers will be instructed by University of Florida Coaches and Staff in a fun and safe environment. Each attendee will receive the same type of instruction and coaching as our Gator players receive. Camp will consist of individual and group drill work along with differentiated skills development dependent upon position.
