According to On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine, there is a new school trending for the services of Jaden Rashada, one of the premier quarterbacks in the 2023 class.

With three official visits scheduled for June, Florida has pushed past Oregon and now has a 26.6 percent chance at coming out on top. The Ducks check in at No. 2 with odds of 22.6 percent, followed by Texas A&M and Miami with percentages of 19.4 and 15.1, respectively.

The latest shift comes after Rashada’s decision to schedule an official visit to Gainesville for June 7-9. That multi-day visit is taking place less than two weeks before his commitment date of June 18, which is also his father’s birthday. The four-star prospect spent multiple days at the Swamp roughly a week ago as well.

Once that visit was in the books, Gators Online reported that Florida is now viewed as a top-two option. We also hinted at the strong possibility of Rashada returning on June 7. So, if you have been following along closely, UF’s recent surge in the RPM should not come as a huge surprise.

With Anthony Richardson’s stock continuing to sise, Rashada sees opportunity to make an early splash in Gainesville. He also believes in Billy Napier and Ryan O’Hara and their ability to prepare signal callers for the next level.

The Gators check off a number of boxes here, and considering that Rashada is taking a mid-week official, the staff will be able dedicate all of their time to his family.

This is arguably the most important official visit of the recruiting cycle for the Gators.

This weekend, Rashada is officially visiting the Aggies. From there, he will travel to Baton Rouge on Sunday before returning to the Swamp on Tuesday. Ole Miss received an official visit in April, so Rashada still has one official visit left if he chooses to use it.

Scouting report on Jaden Rashada

Thinner-framed passer with impressive arm talent that keeps his cool when facing pressure. Has the arm strength to drive the ball downfield and into tight windows. Possesses the functional movement skills to escape the pass rush. Three-level passer who has the ability to layer the football.

Productive player last season throwing for 2,220 yards and 27 touchdowns to 5 interceptions. Can be inconsistent with his ball placement, but showed flashes of improvement in camp and 7-on-7 settings this spring. Should develop quicker processing with more reps in the same offense after playing in three different systems.

Played his freshman season at Liberty HS before transferring to IMG Academy for his sophomore season. Transferred back to California and played his junior season at Pittsburg HS.

On the older end of the spectrum for quarterbacks in his class. Has the physical tools and arm talent to become the face of an elite-level power five program. — Charles Power, On3’s Director of Scouting and Rankings
