Six schools remain for On300 safety and former Florida State commit, Jordan Pride, who trimmed his list on Sunday evening.

Florida, Alabama, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Tennessee and Arkansas remain under consideration. And although he was committed to the Seminoles for over a year, the ACC program did not make the cut.

According to On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine, the Gators are heavily trending with odds of 96.8 percent. I submitted a prediction for Florida shortly after Pride de-committed from FSU, while On3’s Josh Newberg and Michael Langston have done the same.

“They show me a lot of love every time I’m there. Florida treats me like a priority like they say I am,” Pride said of the Gators when speaking with On3’s Hayes Fawcett.

Price was offered by the Gators last summer and then attended Friday Night Lights and multiple home games. He has visited several times this year as well, including for the Orange and Blue Game, so that comfort level in Gainesville is different than most.

However, even before Pride reopened his recruitment, the Gators were making a whole lot of noise in his recruitment. He was in Gainesville more than he was in Tallahassee and continues to feel like a big need for several staff members. Texas A&M is the other school I’m monitoring closely right now.

When speaking with Gators Online earlier this week, Pride said he has yet to schedule an official visit to UF. That is expected to happen in the near future though.

“They always treat me like I’m a king,” Pride previously said of the Gators. “They like my length and how fast I move at my height. Also, my ball skills. They said I’m a ball hawk on the field.”
