SOCIAL SLANT: Emotions running high following addition of Alabama OL transfer Damieon George
On Monday afternoon, the Gators landed their seventh commitment from the NCAA Transfer Portal in Alabama offensive lineman Damieon George.
George, 6-foot-7, 348 pounds, played in just two games this past season but has plenty of experience after playing in all 12 games in 2021. Whether it’s at guard or tackle, the Gators will be strongly considering him for a starting job later this year. I believe he is best suited to play inside.
Prior to committing to Florida, George considered offers from Auburn and Ole Miss as well.
