Leading up to National Signing Day, there were whispers that the Cats could be adding a transfer, but nothing materialized. On today's Wahoo Sports Buzz, Jeff Brohm potentially put a name on that player in saying that former Trinity and current
Ohio State linebacker Jordan Whiting could be looking to head back to the Bluegrass and play for the Cats. Whiting was rated as a four-star player coming out of Trinity as a senior and redshirted as a freshman before playing in all 13 games this past season and registering 2 tackles. He is also due to serve a one-game suspension for "accepting a discount". And he would be one heck of a bargain for Joker Phillips - even if his measurables aren't on Handsome Jimmy's level.
