Louisiana four-star linebacker Keylan Moses has announced his commitment to LSU, choosing the Tigers over a double-digit offer list.

Moses had a final five of LSU, Texas, Florida, Oregon and Tennessee.

The Baton Rouge native and University High four-star revealed his decision from the U-High gymnasium on Thursday evening.

“People tell me I’m meant to be there,” Moses told On3. “When you look at my game, it’s how I play.

“People say I’m an LSU Tiger.”

Moses has been one of the most-coveted linebackers in the 2025 class, and he checks in as the No. 3 prospect in a stacked Louisiana class for next year’s cycle.

The Tigers now have six commitments for the 2025 class, which has moved up to No. 4 on the On3 Industry Recruiting Rankings.

Moses opens up on his LSU commitment

Moses, who has grown up in Baton Rouge, said the Tigers were the school he has grown closest to throughout not just his recruitment, but since his older brother – Dylan Moses – was a recruit.

“I really loved it up there and they make me feel good,” Mose said. “They make me feel like I don’t have to change. There’s just an understanding because they’ve literally seen me grow up. They’re literally family.

“They know my situation, especially Coach Frank (Wilson). I tell him everything. LSU is just family. Growing up and seeing Tyrann Mathieu highlights, Leonard Fournette highlights, seeing those guys grow and prosper deeply, it’s been great to see it all.”

Moses circled Wilson, who is known as one of the best recruiters in the state’s history, as a key reason he chose to stay home.

“I real-deal love Louisiana,” he said. “I love LSU and I love everybody there. Frank (Wilson) is a big part of it.”

The focus turns to recruiting the No. 1 class in 2025

Now, the four-star linebacker said he’s turning his focus to recruiting others to join him.

After announcing his decision, Moses made it clear what the goal was for the Tigers.

“We will have the No. 1 class in America,” he said. “That’s all I will say about that.”

Ahead of his decision, Moses said the pitch from LSU was to become the cornerstone piece to the 2025 cycle.

“Honestly it feels good knowing that LSU looks at me as the leader of the 2025 class,” Moses said. “Considering I’ve been there since maybe I was 6, I’ve built a lot of relationships and some have become more like family, if anything.

“Getting to see the new recruits come in and build lifelong friendships is also great. It’s like they treat me as if I’m committed already.

“They feel like once I commit, that will be the domino effect to the whole city, or even both classes coming together, to make the best team ever.”
