On Sunday, Mississippi four-star offensive lineman Tyler Miller announced his commitment to the LSU football program.

Miller bolsters LSU’s No. 1 ranked recruiting class in a big way, giving the Tigers another one of the nation’s elite prospects at his position.

Miller is ranked by On3 as the No. 1 interior offensive lineman in the 2025 class, checking in ahead of six other interior offensive linemen who are also ranked in On3’s Top 100, regardless of position.

The Laurel (Miss.) four-star is the fourth LSU commitment for the 2025 cycle who is ranked by On3 as the No. 1 prospect at his position, joining 5-star+ quarterback Bryce Underwood, 5-star+ wide receiver Dakorien Moore and 5-star running back Harlem Berry.

LSU has 11 total commitments that make up the No. 1 recruiting class on the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings, including 10 prospects ranked inside the Top 250 of the On3 Rankings.

Why On3 is the outlier on LSU commit Tyler Miller

Miller is ranked by On3 as the best interior offensive lineman in the 2025 class, which groups together guards and centers into one ranking.

While he’s ranked as On3’s No. 32 overall prospect, Miller checks in outside the Top 100 with Rivals and outside the Top 200 on 247 and ESPN.

As for positional rankings, Miller is ranked the No. 1 interior offensive lineman by On3, but checks in at No. 13 on Rivals, No. 25 on 247 and No. 28 on ESPN.

The On3 Industry Rankings, a rankings algorithm weighing the four major recruiting services with On3 (35%), 247Sports (35%), Rivals.com (20%) and ESPN (10%), has Miller ranked as the No. 71 overall prospect and No. 3 interior offensive lineman in the 2025 class.

On3 National Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power said the rankings team circled Miller early in his recruiting process, and a recent Under Armour in-person evaluation following his junior season this past fall boosted his stock even further – and ranking up to On3’s No. 1 interior offensive lineman and No. 32 overall prospect, which would be within five-star range once the rankings expand to 32 total 5-stars.

While Miller is ranked as an interior lineman, Power said his position versatility and experience at offensive tackle open the door to taking a number of different paths once he’s on LSU’s roster.

“Tyler Miller has been in the top 100 for On3 for several months,” Power said. “He’s a guy who could play multiple positions on the offensive line. I got to see him in person at the Atlanta Under Armour camp, and he is really well-built at 6-foot-5, 315 pounds.

“He has plus length with 34-plus inch arms and is a violent, physical run-blocker.

“He’s going to need to continue to develop in pass protection, and I think his skillset right now projects most seamlessly on the interior, but he’s a good athlete, fluid mover and a guy who, when you look at the pure physical ability and his ready-made size, projects well.”

Miller is LSU’s third offensive line commitment for the 2025 class and joins four-star Devin Harper as the second Top 100 prospect on board for LSU offensive line coach Brad Davis, who has been one of the nation’s best offensive line recruiters across his time on staff in Baton Rouge.

Miller’s offer list included SEC programs like SEC, Georgia, Alabama and – perhaps most notably – both in-state programs in Mississippi State and Ole Miss. Miller’s announcement came a week after he was on LSU’s campus for the program’s Junior Day.
