2025 Duncanville (Tex.) wide receiver Dakorien Moore is set to visit LSU again on April 14 for the spring game, he told On3’s Chad Simmons on Monday.

He’s at Ohio State for an unofficial visit on Monday and will return to Texas for an unofficial visit for the spring game on April 20. He’s also working on an Oregon visit.

He showed why he’s a Five Star Plus+ prospect earlier this month at the Under Armour Dallas event. On3’s MVP of the day worked out a bit, showing his elite athleticism and technique.

“I don’t really think I showed too much of anything. I feel like I came out here, had a little fun,” Moore told On3. “I knew a lot of the, I’ll say, competitors out here. I was really just out here having fun, getting flashes for the camera and stuff like that. It wasn’t really too much, but I was out here scoping what everybody else got. Did some routes on air, a little 1-on-1s just to stay with it.”

Moore was in Baton Rouge right before the camp, spending time with the coaching staff and fellow Five Star Plus+ commit Bryce Underwood and other prospects. Overall, it was good to get back to where he calls home.

“I would say it was smooth,” Moore said. “It wasn’t an ambush or nothing like that. I know the people there so it was a welcome back. I’ve seen a couple new things, but it wasn’t too much, it was a ‘welcome home.’ I would say it was hanging out.”

Coming off the visit, LSU is still where he’s “locked in.” Moore plans to take summer official visits to LSU, Ohio State, Oregon and Texas most likely.

Dakorien Moore scouting report

“Skilled receiver with a well-rounded skill set who stars for one of the tip high school programs in the state of Texas. Measured at around 5-foot-10.5, 175 pounds prior to his junior season. Touts top speed on the track, running a wind-aided 10.63 mark in the 100 meters as a sophomore. Shows a refined and well-rounded skill set as a receiver both on Friday nights and in the camp setting. Has the long speed to separate deep and take the top off of defenses.

“Shifty after the catch and uses his field vision to find open space, sometimes cutting back across the field. Looks to have plus ball skills, with the ability to make acrobatic catches. Shows reliable, strong hands at the catch point in the camp setting. Turned in a good sophomore season for the Texas state champions, catching 44 passes for 767 yards and seven touchdowns.”

According to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies, Moore is the No. 3 overall prospect, No. 1 wideout in America and the top-ranked prospect in Texas.
