One of the top players in Mississippi for the 2025 class committed to the Tigers on Sunday morning. Tyler Miller, the No. 71 player in the class of 2025 according to the On3 Industry rankings announced his decision to play for Brad Davis and LSU, further bolstering Brian Kelly’s 2025 class.

On3 has Miller as the No. 1 interior offensive lineman in the nation and the No. 32 player in the class and at 6-foot-5 and 310 pounds, the potential is exciting for LSU fans. The Laurel, Mississippi native had interest from Ole Miss, Florida, and Mississippi State before committing to LSU. Miller visited LSU on March 8, just over a week ago, paving the way for an eventual commitment.

“Really when I went up to LSU…the minute I went through the door Brad Davis, Dr. Arnold and others, they all felt like I was at home talking to people I knew from years,” Miller said. “I feel myself graduating and becoming a better man there with coach Kelly.”

His relationship with the coaching staff and their plan for him played a role in his decision as well. LSU has one of the most respected offensive staffs in the SEC and it paid dividends once again.

“I feel like I’m the closest to coach Brad,” Miller said. “That’s a person I give a lot of respect to and his hustle and his grind is amazing. My relationship with the coaching staff is family and their plan for me is having a good chance of making an impact as soon as I step on campus, but I have to work everyday and nothing is going to be given to me.”

The Magnolia State offensive lineman joins coach Brian Kelly and the Tigers’ No.1 2025 class. He is accompanied by five-star quarterback Bryce Underwood, five-star running back Harlem Berry, five-star wide receiver Dakorien Moore, and others. It’s a class that has the Tigers primed for a push in the future and Miller expects to be at the heart of that.

Scouting Take on LSU’s new commit

Tyler Miller has been in the top 100 for On3 for several months. A guy who could play multiple positions on the offensive line. Got to see him in person at the Atlanta Under Armour camp, he is really well-built at 6-foot-5, 315 pounds. Has plus length with 34-plus inch arms. A violent, physical run-blocker. Going to need to continue to develop in pass protection, and I think his skillset right now projects most seamlessly on the interior, but he’s a good athlete, fluid mover and a guy who, when you look at the pure physical ability and his ready-made size, projects well.” — On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power
