On Wednesday night, Jaloni Cambridge, the No. 3 player in the country, arrived for her official visit to LSU. As The Bengal Tiger reported on Sunday, Cambridge will be in Baton Rouge until Saturday evening and will be in attendance on Thursday night as LSU receives its championship rings and hangs the championship banner in the PMAC.

Cambridge has a top seven schools of LSU, Baylor, Ohio State, Georgia, Florida, Louisville, and South Carolina. She’s already taken visits to Louisville and Baylor and now is at LSU for a few days to see what the Tigers have to offer. Cambridge is not signing in the early signing period, so she still has some time to make her decision with the next signing period in April.

The 5-foot-6 point guard from Tennessee is the No. 3 ranked player in the ESPN HoopGurlz top 100 for 2024 and comes off of a junior season averaging 28 points, four assists, eighth rebounds, and four steals per game.

Assistant coach Gary Redus has visited Cambridge often throughout the fall and LSU has stayed in her ear throughout this process. Cambridge is playing her senior season at Montverde Academy in Florida, one of the premier athletic institutions in the country

The Tigers signed point guard Jada Richard, the No. 1 player in Louisiana for the 2024 class on Wednesday, but remain intent on looking to add Cambridge and more talent to the class as Mulkey will likely have a few key names to replace in the 2024 season.
