The Under Armour Next Camp series is coming to South Florida this weekend, and several dozen of Miami’s top recruiting targets are expected to be in attendance.

Nearly 30 of Miami’s recruiting targets across the 2025, 2026 and 2027 cycles are expected at the combine-like event Sunday, March 3 at Ives Estates Park, just south of Hollywood, beginning at 9 a.m. and running until roughly 2:30 p.m. Linemen will compete earlier in the morning before skill position players take the field in the late morning and early afternoon.

Here’s a list of Miami prospects CaneSport expects in attendance. All rankings are from the On3 Industry Ranking. Many 2026 and 2027 prospects are yet to receive rankings from the four major recruiting databases.

2025 Miami recruits

4-star CB Chris Ewald Jr. | No. 96 overall prospect
+++ Ewald decommitted from Michigan shortly after the national championship, and Miami has become the team to watch since. Florida State, who was previously another major contender, has cooled communication with Ewald in recent weeks, and I particularly like where Miami sits.

4-star S Amari Wallace | No. 131 overall prospect
+++ Wallace has been in substantially more contact with Miami’s staff since visiting in January, and the Hurricanes have made good progress with him during the February dead period. We expect to see Wallace back on campus this spring.

4-star WR Winston Watkins | No. 135 overall prospect
+++ Watkins, a former Colorado commit, previously told CaneSport he’d like to visit Miami this spring if he’s able and has kept in contact with the Hurricanes’ staff. The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine currently lists Texas A&M as the favorite.

4-star DL Myron Charles | No. 145 overall prospect
+++ Charles has been a massive priority for the Hurricanes’ staff this year and wants to get back to Coral Gables this spring. He was last on Miami’s campus for the the Hurricanes’ junior day but has also received strong pushes from Florida, Florida State, Georgia and USC.

4-star RB Deandre Desinor | No. 159 overall prospect
+++ Desinor saw his stock rise in a major way last year after a breakout sophomore season and strong performances on 7-on-7 and camp circuits, and he attended several Miami home games last year.

4-star CB Ben Hanks Jr. | No. 172 overall prospect
+++ Hanks may be a Florida legacy and the son of a former All-SEC Gator in the early 90s, but Miami is a program continuing to stand out to the four-star prospect. Florida and Georgia are also well in the mix.

4-star WR Naeshaun Montgomery | No. 181 overall prospect
+++ Montgomery is officially in Miami’s backyard after transferring from the West Palm Beach area to Miami Central this offseason, although programs like LSU and Florida are plenty popular for the four-star prospect too.

4-star WR Jayvan Boggs | No. 206 overall prospect (Ohio State commit)
+++ Boggs visited Miami for the Hurricanes’ junior day and said he’d be open to returning this spring as the Canes continue to work to flip him from Ohio State.

4-star DL Randy Adirika | No. 211 overall prospect
+++ I entered a prediction into the RPM in early February for the Hurricanes to land Adirika, another Miami Central product who has received tremendous attention from the Canes thus far, and I continue to stand by it as March begins.

4-star S Bryce Fitzgerald | No. 213 overall prospect
+++ Fitzgerald will return to campus for the first time this year March 30 after making several trips down a season ago and comes from a high school (Columbus) with a bounty of ties to Miami.

4-star CB Gregory “Zae” Thomas | No. 246 overall prospect
+++ Miami and Florida State have continued to battle for Thomas, who has visited both programs already this year and will travel to both schools this spring. There’s been some solid buzz around Florida State, but Miami isn’t expected to go anywhere.

4-star CB Tae Harris | No. 248 overall prospect
+++ Harris decommitted from Georgia in January and holds offers from a plethora of programs ranging from Florida and Miami to LSU and Oklahoma.

4-star WR Waden Charles | No. 312 overall prospect (Miami commit)
+++ Charles committed to Miami shortly after a game-day visit last fall, and while he’s continuing to visit other programs, he’s been adamant the Hurricanes are the school for him.

3-star WR Kamare Williams | No. 381 overall prospect
+++ Williams hasn’t been a name as mentioned in Miami recruiting circles but holds more than two dozen offers from programs including Oregon, LSU, Texas A&M and Florida’s three major universities.

3-star DL Jarquez Carter | No. 392 overall prospect
+++ Carter has blossomed into a national recruit through the first two months of the new year and has received plenty of attention from the Hurricanes. He spent two days on campus in January and will be back this spring.

3-star LB Ezekiel Marcelin | No. 421 overall prospect
+++ Marcelin has received plenty of attention from the Hurricanes to start the year and has developed a strong relationship with linebackers coach Derek Nicholson. Miami is recruiting Marcelin at weakside linebacker.

3-star WR Joshua Moore | No. 458 overall prospect
+++ Miami has kept an eye on Moore, who blossomed early in his career and received offers from Florida’s three major schools along with programs like Ohio State and Texas A&M.

3-star EDGE Romondo Johnson | No. 470 overall prospect
+++ Johnson landed a Miami offer after a strong performance at a prospect camp last summer and now holds more than 20 total offers.

2026 Miami recruits

4-star ATH Calvin Russell | No. 36 overall prospect
+++ Russell quickly turned into a do-it-all guy for Miami Northwestern last year and has been high on the Hurricanes early in his recruitment. He’s been one of the more popular names for Cane fans to know in 2026.

4-star QB Dia Bell | No. 47 overall prospect
+++ Bell is quickly turning into the most anticipated South Florida high school quarterback since Teddy Bridgewater more than a decade ago, and the Canes have consistently made strong early impressions. He’s expected back on campus this spring.

Unranked WR Malachi Toney (Miami commit)
+++ Toney’s commitment last fall came as a surprise to most of us given he only told a handful of people in advance and didn’t inform Miami’s staff of his intention, but the Hurricanes have been happy to keep him locked in.

Unranked LB Jordan Campbell (Miami commit)
+++ Campbell’s commitment also came as somewhat of a surprise, but he’s remained solid with the Hurricanes despite recent offers from programs including Nebraska, Auburn and Louisville.

Unranked WR Denairius Gray (Auburn commit)
+++ Gray committed to Auburn Jan. 1 but still receives attention from the Hurricanes, who are in his backyard at Chaminade-Madonna.

Unranked LB Adam Balogoun-Ali
+++ Balogoun-Ali landed a Miami offer last year and has tremendous respect for his hometown school. This will be CaneSport’s first chance to watch him live in a non-game workout setting.

Unranked CB Xavier Iherisse
+++ Iherisse, a multi-sport athlete, has held his Miami offer for almost a year and comes from the same high school as current Miami cornerback Robert Stafford.

Unranked RB Javian Mallory
+++ Mallory visited Miami for the first time in January and was impressed by Coral Gables, although he’s still a ways away from any decisions.

2027 recruits

Unranked QB Zachary Katz
+++ Katz currently holds a Miami offer and dropped by campus for an unofficial visit Jan. 27.
