East Lansing, Mich. Michigan State redshirt freshman offensive lineman Kristian Phillips plans to withdraw from the transfer portal, sources confirmed to SpartanMag.com on Tuesday.

Phillips entered the portal on Dec. 9. He received offers from the likes of Eastern Kentucky, Jackson State and Georgia State while in the portal.

The 6-foot-4, 315-pound Phillips played 11 games this fall. He did not see game action during his true freshman season in 2022.

A former three-star prospect out of Conyers (Ga.) Salem High School, Phillips was the No. 83 interior offensive lineman and No. 102 player from Georgia, per the 2022 On3 Industry Rankings.

Phillips joins linebacker Darius Snow and fellow offensive linemen Ethan Boyd and Brandon Baldwin as Michigan State players who have withdrawn from the transfer portal.

Michigan State now has 18 players in the portal: linebacker Jacoby Windmon, wide receiver Jaron Glover, quarterback Katin Houser, cornerback Charles Brantley, tight end Maliq Carr, guard Kevin Wigenton, wide receiver Christian Fitzpatrick, wide receiver Tyrell Henry, guard Geno VanDeMark, tight end Evan Morris, defensive end Khris Bogle, defensive tackle Dre Butler, wide receiver Sebastian Brown, defensive tackle Derrick Harmon, punter Michael O’Shaughnessy, running back Jordon Simmons, defensive back Justin White and defensive end Zion Young.
