Notre Dame verbal pledges from across the country are wrapping up their respective junior and senior seasons, and Blue & Gold is tracking their performances.

Here is a breakdown of how the Notre Dame commits fared over the weekend.

OL Sullivan Absher

Belmont (N.C.) South Point (12-1) ran for 266 yards and 3 touchdowns in a 21-20 win over Shelby (N.C.) Crest (9-4) in the quarterfinals of the North Carolina Class 3A state playoffs.

Next game: vs. Gibsonville (N.C.) Eastern Guilford (9-4) in the quarterfinals of the North Carolina Class 3A state playoffs Nov. 25.


LB Jaiden Ausberry

Had 12 tackles (2 for loss) and broke up one pass as Baton Rouge (La.) University Lab (8-3) cruised to a 43-0 victory against Metairie (La.) Park Country Day (6-6) in the second round of the Louisiana Division II state playoffs

Official season stats: 105 total stops, 13 tackles for loss, 3 sacks, 1 forced fumble, 4 passes broken up, 1 blocked punt and 1 fumble recovery for a touchdown … 13 rushes for 37 yards and 6 touchdowns.

LB Drayk Bowen

Totaled 12 tackles (6 for loss) and 2 sacks, plus had 34 rushing attempts for 358 yards and 5 touchdowns, in a 48-29 triumph for Merrillville (Ind.) Andrean (10-3) over Fort Wayne (Ind.) Bishop Luers (8-6) in the semifinals of the Indiana Class 2A state playoffs.

Official season stats: 136 total stops, 19 tackles for loss, 5 sacks, 2 interceptions, 4 passes broken up, 3 forced fumbles, 1 fumble recovery and 1 blocked punt … 216 carries for 1,689 yards and 26 touchdowns, plus 9 receptions for 216 yards and 3 scores.

Peyton Bowen

Recorded 6 tackles and returned an interception 100 yards for a touchdown to lead Denton (Texas) Guyer (12-0) to a 63-42 win versus Dallas Highland Park (11-1) in the second round of the Texas 6A Division II state playoffs … Guyer is ranked as the No. 12 team in the country by MaxPreps.

Unofficial season stats: 68 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 5 interceptions (2 returned for touchdowns), 3 passes broken up, 1 kickoff return touchdown and 3 punt returns for scores.

RB Dylan Edwards

Ran 30 times for 115 yards and 3 scores in a 28-23 loss for Derby (Kan.) High (9-3) at the hands of Manhattan (Kan.) High (12-0) in the semifinals of the Kansas Class 6A state playoffs.

Official season stats: 170 carries for 1,764 yards and 29 touchdowns … 13 receptions for 205 yards and 3 scores … 1 kickoff return touchdown and 1 punt return score (missing one game).

TE Cooper Flanagan

Caught 1 pass for 64 yards to help Concord (Calif.) De La Salle (9-3) to a 30-23 victory over Pittsburg (Calif.) High (10-2) in the second round of the California Interscholastic Federation North Coast Section Open/Division state playoffs … De La Salle captured its 30th straight North Coast Section title.

Unofficial season stats: 29 receptions for 504 yards and 3 touchdowns … 39 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks and 1 interception.

WR Rico Flores Jr.

Hauled in 8 passes for 118 yards and 1 touchdown in a 62-27 triumph for Folsom (Calif.) High (11-1) against Modesto (Calif.) Central Catholic (8-5) in the semifinals of the California Interscholastic Federation Sac-Joaquin Section Division I state playoffs.

Official season stats: 72 receptions for 1,081 yards and 8 touchdowns.

CB Christian Gray

St. Louis De Smet (7-6) fell 33-6 to Lee’s Summit (Mo.) North (12-1) in the semifinals of the Missouri Class 6 state playoffs.

Unofficial season stats: 27 tackles, 3 interceptions and 1 sack … 4 receptions for 89 yards and a touchdown … 2 rushes for 18 yards and a score (missing one game).

WR Jaden Greathouse

Hauled in 3 passes for 40 yards in a 45-14 triumph for Austin (Texas) Westlake (12-0) over New Braunfels (Texas) High (8-4) in the second round of the Texas 6A Division I state playoffs … Completed 1 pass for 23 yards and 1 touchdown … Westlake is ranked as the No. 9 team in the nation by MaxPreps.

Official season stats: 49 receptions for 882 yards and 10 touchdowns … 2 punt return scores … 1 passing touchdown.

RB Jayden Limar

Ran 23 times for 194 yards and 3 touchdowns, plus had 4 receptions for 57 yards and a score, in Lake Stevens (Wash.) High’s (10-2) 42-17 triumph over Spokane (Wash.) Gonzaga Prep (9-3) in the quarterfinals of the Washington Class 4A state playoffs.

Unofficial season stats: 178 rushes for 1,651 yards and 30 touchdowns … 24 receptions for 321 yards and 4 scores.

RB Jeremiyah Love

Ran 15 times for 172 yards and 3 scores to lead St. Louis Christian Brothers (12-1) to a 46-21 victory against Liberty (Mo.) North (12-1) in the semifinals of the Missouri Class 6 state playoffs.

Official season stats: 121 rushes for 1,080 yards and 19 touchdowns … 10 receptions for 264 yards and 3 scores.

Ben Minich

DL Brenan Vernon

Mentor (Ohio) High (9-4) fell 27-0 against Lakewood (Ohio) St. Edward (13-1) in the finals of the Ohio Region 1 state playoffs.

LB Preston Zinter

Made 19 tackles and caught 2 passes for 32 yards but Lawrence (Mass.) Central Catholic (8-3) fell 28-7 against Danvers (Mass.) St. John’s Prep (9-2) in the semifinals of the Massachusetts Division 1 state playoffs.

Official season stats: 88 stops, 5 tackles for loss, 2 passes broken up, 2 forced fumbles, 1 fumble recovery, 1 blocked field goal and 1 interception … 19 receptions for 248 yards and 1 touchdown.

CB Karson Hobbs

Posted 1 tackle and 2 passes broken up to help lead Cincinnati Archbishop Moeller (13-1) to a 38-20 victory over Cincinnati Lakota West (13-1) in the championship game of the Ohio Region 4 state playoffs … Archbishop Moeller is ranked as the No. 24 team in the nation by MaxPreps.

Official season stats: 23 tackles, 1 sack, 1 tackle for loss, 1 interception and 9 passes broken up.
