Dan Lanning and his staff made a massive splash on the recruiting trail Tuesday.

Lake Oswego (Ore.) wide receiver Justius Lowe announced on Twitter this evening that he has committed to Oregon. He chose the Ducks over offers from Utah, Notre Dame, and many others.

At 6-foot-1, 182-pounds, Lowe is a four-star receiver in the class of 2022, and On3’s No. 216 overall prospect, while the On3 Consensus lists him at three stars and No. 696 overall.

Lowe had previously committed to the Utes in December but did not sign. Over the weekend, he announced that he was decomitting from Utah, and Lanning and his staff put on the full-court press, with Junior Adams leading the way.

Early Tuesday afternoon, Oregon offensive coordinator Kenny Dillingham hinted that this was coming.

Of Oregon’s 2022 commits, Lowe is the lone receiver in the class thus far.
