Oregon Debuts new 'Shoe Duck' Uniforms
Oregon has once again pushed the envelope and will debut new uniforms this week. The Ducks host Oregon State for the once known “Civil War” rivalry game. Now the two schools are in different conferences and this is no longer the final game of the season.
But Oregon decided to use this weekend to roll out some very special uniforms for the game. This time honoring Nike founder, shoe mogul, Phil Knight. Without Knight’s generosity, much of what Oregon is today would not exist. He has been a mainstay in all of Oregon’s cutting edge facilities and brand development.
Oregon has been the program to create the uniform trend in college football. Often benefiting from the close relationship with Nike and Phil Knight. This time Oregon is honoring Phil, AKA ‘Shoe Dog’ with some very special uniforms.
