Texas and Michigan will battle on Big Noon Kickoff on Fox, with the start time at 11 a.m. Central.

Michigan lost head coach Jim Harbaugh as well as a number of high-profile talents to the NFL, similar to the Longhorns. However, Texas returns Quinn Ewers and added a number of top-flight receivers from the transfer portal ahead of the 2024 season.

The two schools have faced each other just once. In the 2005 Rose Bowl, Vince Young and Cedric Benson led Texas past Steve Breaston, Chade Henne, and Mike Hart. Dusty Mangum hit a game-winning field goal to give the Longhorns a 38-37 win.
