In this episode, Justin and Joe discuss…

  • Justin and Joe start with the gutsiest player on the Texas roster in 2023, with Jerrin Thompson and Jordan Whittington being mentioned, respectively. Both have worked extremely hard through tough circumstances to get to this point in their career on the Forty acres. Both Justin and Joe named Hayden Conner , aka Big NASA, the smartest player on the team, with Thompson getting a nod on the defensive side of the ball for his intelligence and GPA.
  • Justin and Joe jump into recruiting next on who will be the next commitment to UT’s Class of 2024. Justin names one from each side of the ball, starting with Duncanville’s DL Alex January and Lucas Lovejoy WR Parker Livingstone. Both look like July announcements, with Livingstone deciding on July 1st. Next up Joe asks Justin who are the most important 2024 official visitors, one on offense, one on defense, arriving this month, not including Micah Hudson and Colin Simmons. Justin selected Arizona native RB Christian Clark and Waco Connally CB Kobe Black, both at the top of UT’s big board. Joe chooses Lake Belton DB Selman Bridges and St. Louis product and On3 five-star WR Ryan Wingo.
  • Justin and Joe shift to baseball for the NCAA Super Regional at Texas heads to Palo Alto to face Stanford this weekend. Justin likes the starting pitching and timely hitting, while Joe picks the Horns in three games and head to the 2023 College World Series. Both chose Lucas Gordon, California native, as the most important pitcher in the Longhorns-Cardinal series.
  • Which Texas assistant coach would be the next potential head coach? Justin and Joe deliver an in-depth look at many of Steve Sarkisian‘s staff and moves down the line.

  • The trio makes sure to know that there are also a number of 2025 prospects heading into town, including a number of tight ends. Jeff Banks throws offers out with regularity, but they could find prospects from elsewhere.
