Traore also followed Miller to Austin after missing the 2024-25 season due to a knee injury suffered in the preseason. Traore began his career at St. Louis before transferring to Long Beach State. With the Beach, he played in 35 games and led the Big West in rebounding at 10.3 per contest in 2023-24. He also scored 11.9 points per game on his way to a second-team All-Big West selection. He has one year of eligibility remaining.
