Montverde (Fla.) Academy forward and 2022 Texas signee Dillon Mitchell was ranked as the No. 2 overall prospect in On3’s 2022 top 150, one spot behind Duke signee Kyle Filipowski. Mitchell, a 6-foot-7 forward and McDonald’s All-American, committed to Texas in October. Prior to the rankings update, Mitchell was the No. 20 overall player in his class.

Mitchell was ranked as the No. 1 overall forward and No. 1 player in the state of Florida. He is the No. 7 overall player in the country according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Dallas (Texas) Kimball guard and fellow Texas signee Arterio Morris was ranked as the No. 24 player in the country in On3’s top 150. Morris is ranked as On3’s top point guard and the No. 5 player in the state of Texas. He was previously On3’s No. 11 overall prospect.

Northfield (Mass.) Mount Hermon guard Rowan Brumbaugh was ranked as the No. 78 overall prospect in the country, down from his previous No. 52 listing. A one-time Northwestern pledge, Brumbaugh is the No. 6 point guard prospect in the nation and No. 2 prospect from the state of Massachusetts. He committed to Texas after the early signing period and is not yet signed.

According to On3, Morris has the highest NIL Valuation at $50,000. Mitchell and Brumbaugh’s evaluation are near the $25,000 mark. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Several Texas targets also were listed in the updated rankings. Duncanville (Texas) guard Anthony Black just missed five-star status as the No. 22 overall player in the country. He was previously the No. 15 prospect. Scottsdale (Ariz.) Compass Prep center Adrame Diongue skyrocketed into the top 50 after previously being unranked. He is now ranked as the No. 36 prospect in the country, No. 6 center, and No. 1 player in Arizona.

Though he does not have a Texas offer, Chris Beard’s staff is monitoring Mount Pleasant (Utah) Wasatch Academy’s Keba Keita. He is ranked as the No. 67 player in the country and No. 3 2022 prospect from the state of Utah. Like Diongue, Keita was previously unranked.

Mitchell, Morris, and Brumbaugh make up a 2022 recruiting class currently ranked No. 10 in the country, according to the On3 Consensus. The Longhorns rank second in the Big 12 in 2022 class rankings behind Kansas, who signed the No. 3 class in the country.
