The Texas Longhorns are returning to Daikin Park. Texas, who took home the 2025 Southeastern Conference regular season title in Jim Schlossnagle’s first season leading the program, will play in the 2026 Astros Foundation College Classic, the program announced Tuesday.

The tournament is from February 27 to March 1, a couple of weeks into the 2026 season. The Longhorns will face 2025 NCAA national runner-up Coastal Carolina, former Big 12 rival Baylor, and Big 10 program Ohio State.

UTSA and Ole Miss are also in the field.

The matchup with the Chanticleers will be the first ever between the two programs. Coastal Carolina will have the services of ace pitcher Cameron Flukey, who was 7-2 with a 3.19 ERA and a 1.00 WHIP for the Chants across 101.2 IP. He’ll likely face Texas’ Dylan Volantis, setting up a scout’s dream of an early season matchup. Former Longhorn Cole Chamberlain will be in teal for this game after spending one season in Austin.

That game will be at 7:05 p.m. on February 27.

Texas will face Baylor at 7:05 on February 28 for the first time since 2024. The two teams first played each other in 1903. Texas holds a 257-114-4 lead over their neighbors to the north on Interstate 35.

The concluding game is on Sunday, March 1 at 2:05 p.m. versus Ohio State. The two teams last faced each other in 2004.

The Longhorns return to the Astros Foundation College Classic for the 12th time, including their second trip in three years. Texas is 16-17 in its previous 11 appearances in the event, per release.

Single day tickets and three-day tournament packages will go on sale at a later date.
