SEATTLE
Friday beat the Huskies Pep Rally: Join your fellow Trojan fans at Denny Park (100 Dexter Ave N, Seattle, WA 98109) at noon on Friday for a free noontime pep rally.
Pikes Market Place: From the original Starbucks to a basically sidewalk outdoor fish market and major tourist trap overlooking the Puget Sound, it’s a delightful place to spend an afternoon. There are plenty of souvenirs stuff and there is a real sense of electricity in the air. Having been there a number of times, worth the visit.
The Space Needle: Still the icon of Seattle. It’s worth spending a few bucks to take the elevator to the top of the Space Needle to see a gorgeous view of the city and the breathtaking waterways.
Saturday Game Day Tips:
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
Husky fans will again be able to take express buses to and from Washington football home games from key Metro Park & Ride locations. With the purchase of a season pass or a game day pass, fans can park in the Park & Ride lots and travel stress-free all the way to Husky Stadium. Please note, a season bus pass is required to ride the Redondo Heights route.
Fans can also ride regular transit service to Husky Stadium and the University District, or take Sound Transit Link Light Rail or the Amtrak Cascades trains.
PARKING
Single-game public parking is available on a first-come, first-serve basis on gameday, while single-game ADA parking may be purchased in advance. There are also a limited number of general public RV permits available for purchase on gameday. For a single-game parking map, click here.
PREGAME ACTIVITIES
Husky fans are invited to The Zone, a VIP area located on the east side of Husky Stadium. The Zone opens three hours before kickoff and is the home to many Husky gameday traditions, including the famous Dawg Walk. Food and beverages are available for purchase, and fans can enjoy music and a live pregame broadcast from the Huskies’ flagship station, KOMO Newsradio 1000 AM/97.7 FM.
Husky Stadium: Gates open for fans 90 minutes before kickoff. Umbrellas are permitted provided they do not interfere with other guest’ experience at the game. Make sure you dress warmly because it can get mighty cold with the wind blowing off the lake and the probability of showers. And if you’re sitting up high in the second deck, you will also dress even more warmly, trust me. Think survival mode!
Concessions and beer garden: Husky Stadium football options include local favorites like Fletchers Hot Dogs and Pecos Pit BBQ, plus Teriyaki Bowls and Pho, and visit The Zone pregame for a rotating mix of food trucks like Delfino’s, Snout & Co., and The Fork & The Fin. Additionally, Corona has sponsored the Off-Leash Corona Beach beer garden above section 101 on the southeast side of the stadium.
Trojan Walk: The Trojans should step off their team busses between 9:30 am and 10:00 am.
