From USC Athletics:

LOS ANGELES–USC tailback Keaontay Ingram was selected by the Arizona Cardinals in the sixth round (201st overall pick) of the 2022 NFL Draft on Saturday (April 30), the draft’s final day.

Ingram is USC’s 519th all-time NFL draftee.  USC is second behind Notre Dame’s 522 for most NFL draft picks.

He is the first Trojan running back selected since Ronald Jones II went in the second round of the 2018 Draft to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

He also is the first Trojan drafted by the Cardinals since offensive guard Taitusi Lutui in the 2006 Draft.

Ingram spent his 2021 senior season at USC after transferring from Texas.  He led the Trojans in rushing last year with 911 yards on 156 carries (5.8 avg) and 5 TDs and he also caught 22 passes for 156 yards (7.1 avg).  He had a trio of 100-yard rushing performances.  He made 2021 All-Pac-12 honorable mention.

Including his 3 seasons at Texas, he ran for 2,722 yards on 495 carries (5.5 avg) with 16 TDs, with 8 100-yard games, and caught 89 passes for 671 yards (7.5 avg) with 6 TDs in his career.

On Thursday (April 28), USC wide receiver Drake London was selected in the first round as the No. 8 overall pick by the Atlanta Falcons, the 84th Trojan first rounder ever (second most of any school). A USC player has been drafted every year since 1939.

Then on Friday (April 29), Trojan outside linebacker Drake Jackson went to the San Francisco 49ers in the second round.
