In Tuesday’s feisty special edition of “Inside the Trojans’ Huddle”, panelists Marc Kulkin, Chris Arledge, Erik McKinney, and Greg Katz discuss the impending hiring of former Arizona Cardinals’ head coach Kliff Kingsbury as a Trojans’ “senior analyst for offense”, preview Saturday’s USC Spring Game by position groups, spring game attendance predictions and no post-game fans autograph policy, and panel answers to viewers’ questions.

Leading off before getting into the spring game preview, the panel analyzes the hiring of former Arizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury as what is being reported as a Trojans “senior analyst for offense.” The panel goes in depth on why they believe Lincoln Riley decided to hire Kingsbury, what it says about the Trojans’ head coach, and what it will mean for Trojans quarterbacks and the offense in general.

In another topic, the panel gives its thoughts and opinions why Lincoln Riley allowed the media to attend a full practice session on Monday rather than the usual 20 minutes of viewing. Has the coach reassessed his views on the media? Is it about trusting the Los Angeles scribes? Or was this simply a one-off gesture? You may or may not be surprised by the answers.

Halftime centers around predicting the attendance for Saturday’s spring game. One panelist predicted above 25,000 while another was more conservative at 18,000 fans. Who said what? Also part of the halftime discussion, there are perspectives on why USC is not having a post-game autograph session for the fans. Is it about NIL money and/or Covid? Hear what the panel has to say regarding this sensitive issue.

The second half of the Huddle goes over the defense by position groups, and there is some high praise for a number of players and question marks about others. Who got the biggest attention along the defensive line, rush end, inside linebacker, corners, and safeties? Hint: One of the players receiving love is a true freshman and the other is a transfer. Care to guess whom the panel was referring to?

In Overtime, the panel answers some viewers’ questions, which includes the progress of the “Tommy Group” and its effects on recruiting, the $25 charge for spring game parking, a recruiting question about the loss of safety Aaron Flowers to Oregon, the future of DC Alex Grinch if the Trojans don’t make the CFP post-season, and will the WeAreWC staff be in attendance for the spring game?
