Since it’s inevitable, let’s start a single thread to keep whatever tabs you want on players from last year or previous seasons:

Isaiah Coleman: OK State: didn’t play 1st game

Prince Aligbe: Southern Illinois - started game 1 against Manhattan - 18 minutes, 4 points, 4 rebounds, 0-1 3pt, 0-2 FT. The amount of people that defended him on this board last year. My goodness

Gus Yalden: Vermont - 2 games, hasn’t played.

Scottie Middleton: Tulane - started game 1 against Samford - 29 minutes, 7 points, 6 rebounds, 2 ast, 1 blk. 3-7fg, 1-2 3pt

Garwey Dual: McNeese - had a good game against lower competition CHCC In an exhibition 15/4/5/2/2

Yacine Toumi: Hawaii - 20 minutes off bench in 1 point loss to Oregon: 4 points, 6 rebounds, 1-5fg, 2-4ft

Em. Okorafor: Wichita State - 4 minutes off bench va UNC Asheville, 6 points, 3 rebounds, 1blk, 3 fouls, 2 TO.. jeez

David Tubek: UTEP - 14 minutes off bench against lower level competition. 5&5

Jaquan Sanders: Now at Florida A&M

Sada NgaNga: Now at San Jose State

Jaquan Harris: Looks like he’s at a junior college, Frank Phillips College

Thanks a lot for the updates. Always like keeping up with our former players.
I could see Scotty having a good season with Tulane.

It's no secret I was very high on Dual and blamed his season on his shoulder injury. Now after his offseason surgery I assume he's healthy although he was unable to workout until the fall.

The competition in his first game was beyond terrible but here's his stats for that game.

Unfortunately Jaquan Harris has retired from basketball due to his injuries.

That was the word I was hearing originally from day 1. But then 2 years later I was told there was a chance. A shame it never happened.

I stand corrected. Jaquan Harris was on the junior college roster last year. No longer this year. He did play 12 games last year tho. Not very well.

Time will tell. But to me he seemed to have little feel for the game. Looked like he never played PG before. Those are things that injuries don’t affect and not sure he’ll be able to acquire.

Before the injury he underachieved at Providence. The shoulder didn’t help, but he was overrated from the start two years ago.

Gus the bus is dealing with some personal issues at Vermont. Not sure if he is leaving the team or coming back.

I understand where you're coming from. But my response would be he was doing what his coach asked. Slow down the tempo and keep the possessions low. That's not the type of player he is.

And on defense he was a terror. One of the best defensive guards in the league. That seldom shows up in the stat line.

Sanders played 33 minutes in FAMU's season opening 102-67 loss to South Florida on Monday night.

He scored seven points with a 2-10/1-8/2-2 slash line and added three rebounds, two assists, four steals and one block along with two turnovers.

A long fall for a former Mr. NY. A pretty high honor

Remember how psyched we were when he committed to St John’s, we kept recruiting him anyway, and he flipped his commitment to us. Crazy how this stuff works.

I was looking up some of these guys last night and when I checked Southern Illinois I found 2 Aligbe's in the starting lineup. I must have missed this at the time, but Prince joined his brother Rolyns Aligbe, who is now in his 2nd season there.

That was one of the reasons he said he chose S. Illinois.

Good to see Garwey playing after the surgery. He came off the bench in this game and his team scored 127 points so can't take anything from this game other than he played so must be healthy.

Champion Christian is a NCCAA team with the extra C standing for Christian. National Christian College Athletic Association. Has a real game tomorrow at Santa Clara before another game vs NCCAA powerhouse Biblical Studies.

I looked extensively and haven't found anything about this. All I see are items from when he missed time at Wisconsin two years ago.

I feel badly if this is true as he seems like a nice young man.

I saw on the Vermont forum that he did not participate in any scrimmages and may have missed some practices. It may have been for personal reasons and not injury related. I wanted to follow his career there but it may be short lived.

One more log for the fire.

Malachi Brown at Georgia State: 25 minutes, two points (1-10/0-5), three assists, three rebounds, one steal, four turnovers in a 71-49 loss to Eastern Michigan on Monday.

I want to see Coleman put up 25 against Iowa State on 50 percent from the field when they play. If not it is a nothing burger

How about these guys?

Tae Davis - Had 14 pts, 8 rebounds and 3 assists in his 1st game for Oklahoma vs St.Francis. Big game vs Gonzaga tomorrow.

Shahid Muhamad - Now at Florida State. No Line in just 4 minutes in opener vs Alcorn State

Anyone know where Brandon Weston is? Had a good year at Tennessee State last year and entered the Portal but don't know where he is now.

I looked for Brandon Weston. He wasn’t on a roster according to ESPN. I was never high on him and I was proven correct.

Just flipping through the dozens of games on ESPN+ and watched a few minutes of Georgia St vs Cincinnati. Cincinnati spent a ton on their roster and have some impressive talent and size but Georgia State had the early lead. Malachi picked up his second foul 2 minutes and 5 seconds into the game and went to the bench.

What were you basing your "not high on him" evaluation? We never saw him play for us (other than one game for less than 1 minute) and he missed almost all his last year in high school due to injury. Prior to that injury he was outstanding. Did you see him play earlier in high school?

No I never saw him. I based it on the fact of his injuries. And more-so the fact he was consistently being listed and spoken of as a SF here despite being 175 pounds on a good day. That was not going to work in the Big East.

For those interested, Oklahoma State plays Texas A&M on Sunday at 2 PM ET on ESPN2.

Isaiah Coleman is expected to play after sitting out OSU's season opener due to a violation of team rules -- presumably related to his off-season arrest.

I'm a little surprised Weston apparently didn't land anywhere. He averaged 16 a game plus nearly five rebounds last year for a decent Tennessee State team.
