Not only that, but the likes of Bratt and Sharangovich don't cut it in the playoffs. They are too small. I'm not even looking at numbers as they play, I'm watching body mass.
Hughes and Hischier were great, but they are small. The Devils need bigger, tougher skill.
I know Muk was part of the Timo trade, but the Rangers did great getting Schneider.

True, however power forwards are rare. I think he gets it. Unless he is traded for a top 10 pick.
Jack is vastly underpaid, he signed one of the biggest sweetheart deals ever. Meier is a 40 goal scorer this year and has cracked 30 twice before that. He's a legit talent you keep.
Legit talent that’s completely worth invisible in the playoffs. (Though the whole team is so…)
At least get a stick on him, something so he isn't able to get these deflections.

They have done nothing right. It has been so bad, if I was Gallant I would rest Shesterkin from here on out. This could be their year.

I disagree. I think Rangers look dominant and I'd bet them right now to win the Cup !
Disagree Hughes and Hischier have been great. Hughes is head and shoulders the most talented player in the series and he’s been pretty silent.

The Devils announcers are blaming the Devils for getting away from their rush style, in favor of being physical. I think the Rangers size, skill, and experience are winning this series. The Rangers are constantly in the right positions. Any mistakes, are made up for by Shesterkin.
The Devils have tried to play their rush game. It has been shutdown by a good bodycheck or stick. The Rangers are clogging the lanes, and using their strength to win the one-on-one battles. Sadly I was initially right about the NJD being too much of a finesse team. Only the Tampa Bay Lightning may beat this team in the East.
Nah. Rags will beat them, if they actually beat the Islanders who have been the better team thus far.
Hughes has been the only Devil I give a passing grade to. I love the checks. Nico been quiet.
I love both players. That post was only trying to say that we need other bigger players, to offset their size limitations of them.
Exactly why I’m saying Carolina will win. They’re beating teams that are clearly playing better than they are.

I don't think Nico is soft, just too weak. The Kreider stuff is ridiculous! At least try to stop him. Only Bahl looks strong enough. Our D is way too passive.

This devils team is a lot like the Avs team last year. Not big at all..just a whole bunch of fast. This style can certainly win in the playoffs.
Devils are just filled with players that become invisible during long stretches…and seems like this is one of the stretches.
Agree to a point. However I think it is the strength disadvantage that is causing them to disappear. Even Vincent T. looks like a bad *** compared to us.

I’d agree with you if we didn’t disappear all season against less physical worse team…but this is something happening all year.

If in the devs i aint resigning meier if his price tag is anywhere close to $8mm. Hes so irrelevant. Ive actually had to ask people if hes playing. Only time i notice him is when hes taking penalties.
If devs are smart they let him walk and go get bertuzzi and domi. Theyre soft as baby **** and need to fix that along with goalie
