Enjoy the 🔫 show! The game is on ABC. At 4 a.m. on ESPN2 the game is replayed. Although shortened because of time constraints. 4 a.m. to 6 a.m.

Typical, no penalty for an elbow to the face or the slash, Rangers score.

Aww penalties only go on the Devils in the 2nd period of a close game. Original 6 benefits!

The elbow was out. Meier is going to live, but that is a penalty. Especially considering the 2 minutes to McLeod for being too strong. You know the push. I'm shocked we just got on the PP.

He got knocked down, that is how he fell, it happens. Don't worry they only called Shesterkin, not Schneider for his cross checks.

I'm sure the calls will start to shade blue.

Look original 6 bias will show up. The Rangers have their usual lead in the number of Power Plays. Listen to any interview with a veteran defenseman and eventually they will talk about times a hit, knocked an opponent into the goalie. It happens!

Don't worry, if the NJD want to prove me wrong, they will have to kill penalties. The NYR have had 4 PP's to NJD 3. My hunch is the NYR have at least a +3, at the end of this game. Besides I've watched Devils goalies run or bumped all year with NO calls. This is one of the reason's why I have often posted about the NHL needing to be more consistent.

Lack of Consistency, leads to people feeling screwed.

If you saw no intent from how Meier landed on Igor, there is no point. It was intentional plain and simple.

Maybe he'll put his head down and catch the Trou-trou train.

OK, then Kreider should run Schmid. Look the NHL sucks at protecting goalies. If the Rangers run Schmid to win in OT, there will be no call.

Having seen the replay, Timo shouldn't have done that. Maybe if the elbow gets called, he doesn't.

Unlike usually, we disagree here. The Devils have had questionable calls since Jim Schoenfeld.

I was just upset about no calls on 2 penalties, and like clockwork Kreider kills us.

No, he stayed down because he got hit with a shoulder, but not because Goodrow came up.
Watch the replay on that one, perhaps you'll learn something.

I never said that, it works both ways.

The Devils are the last Pro team I am still a diehard fan of. So as diehards do, I see with my heart sometimes!

If the Rangers start running the Devils goalie, they will win, without penalty. I would send Kreider and Goodrow in there hard, starting next game.

Now I hope we can do that again! Nice WIN, but we need more puck possession and shots.

What might have been, if Schmid started game 2. This series may well end with us NJD fan's asking that forever.
