Agreed. That poster is constantly trying to stir the pot and bust someone's chops. It's been old and not interesting or funny for a long time.
Not hard to look back at past posts on the wild (and completely inaccurate) forecasts.

The posts weren’t “forecasts”. Maybe the NWS was a bit high on Thursday but they adjusted by the time the storm hit and were right on

Dont forget....T2k pulled his trolling in the Hurricane Sandy threads, telling everyone that storm would be a bust before everyone figured him out.

Shoveling once yesterday was a complete waste of time. Wind blew snow right back in and then ice covered it. Should have just waited till it was all over.

Usually my street in Cherry Hill would be well-plowed by now. Instead it's solid white. I saw a plow truck come through yesterday at about noon, but I guess they're overwhelmed by what's happened since.

Yeah I just looked out front and everything is completely covered in what looks about 4" of sleet WTF. I'm not even sure how the snow blower will get under this stuff .

I still haven’t gone out, still sleeting here. I want the sleet to finish or almost finish falling on the snow before I go out.

I think it may taper down down around 9 or so, may go out then or do it tomorrow.
Took care of it this morning and wasn’t too bad with the blower. It was crusty on top in some areas. End of the drive was somewhat high as usual with bigger storms, almost as tall as the chute. I break it down with a metal snow shovel and then let the snow blower take care of it.

I’m glad I didn’t go out last night when it stopped, the plows still came by in the middle of the night and would’ve reblocked everything.

My street was like driving on boulders

once onto main roads it was like it never even snowed completely clear and dry

I do see some low to mid 30s possible middle of next week but no realchance to melt. Glaciers til March
We should get to cleared hard surfaces after a few sunny days, but the piles and plow-lines will take awhile. But hey, this is winter!

Mine was fine. But the layer of snow under the thick sheet of ice is so thin, the only tool that would get the ice/snow sandwich off the driveway was a metal square shovel, breaking it up in chunks. You may remember how large our driveway is. The snow blower was somewhat able to bite into the pile of ice chunks and snow left by the plow. I have one side done after 3 hours of work. I should have just left all the snow on the driveway yesterday.

Holy F that sucked to shovel/blow. I had to bust it up with a metal shovel first. It broke into big wafers that I shoveled of blew away. The stuff I didnt bust up the snow blower stayed on top of and I had to do several passes to get to pavement. I was trying to push the front of my blower down while doing it.

Same here. I had some chunks that where the size of sidewalk sections and about 2" thick. Just picked them up and hurled them to the side. My better half was amused, so at least we have that. 3.5 hours of work and would say I'm about half done. Sections that have not seen direct sunlight are not breaking up so well.

I used a 16" EGO battery powered chain saw to cut grooves through the ice layer and that helped to make bigger chunks. It was a genius idea if I don't say so myself, and I only nicked the asphalt once with the chain.

Up here in Maine we got 15” of powder so light you could barely feel any weight on your shovel. It’s still below 10 degrees so the ratio was probably 20-1 here.

this was my experience also, i did my entire driveway around noon yesterday, so only had 3-4" to clear from the driveway, but it was heavy as hell and huge boulders of ice. i was also plowed in by the plows at the top of my driveway, and it was probably 12-15 inches of solid concrete. i was using a flat metal shovel to break it up into bricks, then i i shoveled it into a wheelbarrow, then wheeled it down the street to dump it, took hours. it was legit manual labor, heavy duty work. absolutely sucked. i didn't even bother redoing the entire driveway, i just put my truck in 4wd and ran over it a bunch to flatten it out so my wife could drive over it. brutal

There are people on facebook rooting for 2 feet this weekend. Your friend in the other likely too
