2024 Los Alamitos (Calif.) four-star defensive lineman T.A. Cunningham has been re-offered by LSU‘s new coaching staff. He announced the news Wednesday over social media.

Cunningham, a 6-foot-6.5, 275 pound prospect, is the No. 15 overall prospect and No. 2 defensive lineman in the 2024 On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 1 player from California.

Cunningham has received nearly 50 offers from some of the top programs in the country, including Georgia, Michigan and Oklahoma. He has taken 19 unofficial visits so far. Arkansas, South Carolina and Tennessee are the only programs that Cunningham has visited multiple times.

LSU’s 2024 recruiting class currently contains four prospects. They are Bellaire (Texas) Shadow Creek four-star safety Maurice Williams, Chillicothe (Ohio) four-star tight end Tayvion Galloway, Loganville (Ga.) Grayson four-star athlete Joseph Stone and Jonesboro (La.) Jonesboro-Hodge three-star linebacker Xavier Atkins. Galloway, Stone and Williams are top-200 prospects in the On3 Consensus.

T.A. Cunningham Recruiting Profile

The four-star prospect transferred to Los Alamitos from Alpharetta (Ga.) Johns Creek and recently took a visit to nearby USC. He was impressed by the Trojans, whose 2023 class includes two high school teammates in Five-Star Plus+ quarterback Malachi Nelson and four-star wide receiver Makai Lemon.

“I’m not gonna lie, I’m really interested in USC,” Cunningham told On3’s Chad Simmons. “I think it’s a great option for just the connections I’ll be able to make, the schooling, the education, the football part of it. I’m obviously not going to make a decision or narrow anything down soon. But look for USC to be in the mix there.”

According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, multiple schools are in the mix for Cunningham’s pledge. Currently, Tennessee (13.3%), South Carolina (11.6%) and Arkansas (10%) have the highest-odds.

RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.

It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.

Cunningham currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $123K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

T.A. Cunningham On3 Scouting Summary

The following is the On3 Scouting Summary for T.A. Cunningham:

“Big, light-footed athlete along the defensive front. Has one of the larger frames among top 2024 defensive linemen, checking in at 6-foot-6 and around 275 pounds prior to his junior season. Flashes his athleticism by making some high-level plays in pursuit. Regularly disrupts passing lanes and batted down several passes as a sophomore. Will need to continue developing his technique and hands in disengaging from blocks and as a pass rusher.”
