San Diego (Calif.) Lincoln three-star EDGE <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/david-peevy-31975/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">David Peevy</a> received an offer from <a href="https://www.on3.com/college/oklahoma-sooners/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Oklahoma</a> on Wednesday afternoon. The <a href="https://www.on3.com/teams/usc-trojans/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">USC</a> commit announced the news over social media. 



Peevy is the No. 970 overall prospect and No. 81 EDGE in the 2023 cycle, according to the <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/rankings/consensus-player/football/2023/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">On3 Consensus</a>, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 79 player in California.

A 6-foot-4, 235-pound prospect, Peevy committed to the Trojans on Oct. 27. USC’s <a href="https://www.on3.com/college/usc-trojans/football/2023/industry-comparison-commits/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">2023 recruiting class</a> is currently No. 13 in the <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/rankings/consensus-team/football/2023/">2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings</a> and <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/rankings/consensus-team/football/2023/?conference=pac-12" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">No. 2 in the Pac-12</a>. 



The Sooners are the 18th program to offer Peevy. Their <a href="https://www.on3.com/college/oklahoma-sooners/football/2023/industry-comparison-commits/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">recruiting class</a> is currently No. 8 in the <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/rankings/consensus-team/football/2023/">2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings</a> and <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/rankings/consensus-team/football/2023/?conference=big-12" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">No. 2 in the Big 12</a>. 



Oklahoma has a commitment from only one EDGE prospect. However, it is Kansas City (Mo.) North Kansas City five-star EDGE <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/adepoju-adebawore-147285/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Adepoju Adebawore</a>, the No. 7 overall prospect in the <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/rankings/player/football/2023/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">2023 On300</a>. 



Peevy has an On3 NIL Valuation of <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/david-peevy-31975/nil/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">$5.9K</a>. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes.
