Ehh, the teams that spend the most on their rosters tend to have the most talented teams

You have to spend money but you have to spend it wisely. It’s not just about getting the most expensive guys. but regardless of who you bring in and the cost the most important thing is you have to HIT on your portal players. You can’t afford to have them be misses. Whether he cost 400k or 4M he needs to be a real contributor for you possibly even a star.

He's not wrong. Sometimes all it takes is bringing 1 player in with a short-sighted future and a the wrong attitude to go through your locker room like cancer. Some of these blue chip guys are chasing money right now but wont pan out in the NFL, and deep down they know this because they aren't prepping for that, not trying to improve, not trying to be developed. Sure, a nice little highlight reel may get them in the door, but they never last. Some of these kids see what a transfer is making, what he drives or owns, etc and they get hungry for that instant gratification...and hit the portal thinking its "whats best for them."

Its about time for a Southpark episode that foretells the future (present) of college football. They will be spot on as usual.

Exactly hitting on your evaluations from the portal is the most important thing.

Everything you need to know about NIL you can learn from watching the movie Blue Chips. Rickie Roe and Butch McCrae are the blueprint for high-dollar, high-caliber athletes who end up thinking only about themselves and their money as the season rolls on. It is the diamond in the rough Boudreaux, on no one's radar happy to get the education opportunity that ended up being the spark on the team. If you are the highest bidder for a high dollar athlete it only takes a higher bidder for that player to become a cancer in the locker room.

You’re assuming something you have no clue about. And the answer is no.

Mark Cuban becoming Mr Indiana right as they get good lol. He saw Cody Campbell in the spotlight with Texas Tech and couldn’t help himself. Can’t stand that dude.

Interesting conversation. What’s even more interesting is that they are having that conversation with Mark Cuban who before last year had no interest in college football. Now, because he has money and can buy his way into the program, he becomes an expert and we have to listen to him talk about it. Man this sport is fucked up.

Cuban got rich through creating Broadcast.com so he could listen to IU basketball anywhere. He's not a newbie to the Indiana party.
