It’s gotten to be a JOKE, just like most of our athletic department. We were either too hyped, too tired, too preoccupied, checking out the coeds, disinterested, or just plain not as good as ARMY…

But Ray Tanner has raised more money than a tv evangelist.

At least we have womens that can do better layups than other womens?...

At the end of the day no one can say that Carolina takes MBB and Baseball seriously. They suck in both. Saying they don't have money to fire a coach and then renovating a Football Stadium that will add zero wins to the football team. WB was great before and the renovation while nice will not add wins. All the while having a MBB coach that is horrible and a baseball coach that checked out years ago. The rosters both of those two built are horrid.

I’ve lately been having a concern that donati can be even worse than tanner. If the rumors he is keeping Lamont are true then he is really Killing all our programs

Army got swept by klemmons and total runs were 20 to 2. I think we'll know before May. Paul got what he wanted in pitchers who throw in the mid 90's but like some golfers who hit it a long way they don't know where it's going.

Having followed and gone to baseball games since 1973, I can honestly say I never thought we would be where we are. But the last 10 years have been a slow decline to pre Richardson bad. Yes it’s only 6 games, but I’ll be shocked if we don’t have another losing record. Sad times, FB is bad, MBB is trash, women’s soccer seems to be going the way of Berson’s teams with best player transferring out. Even women’s golf is nowhere near as good as they have been based on first couple of tournaments. We are WBB, hopefully softball and equestrian 🤦🏼‍♂️

The extra money for seats was an overreaction to TVs in your living room. Most Universities overreacted to that. The ones that overreacted are now in debt, including us. Where is the money going? Hopefully to pay recruits in football but we still haven’t seen the results from that.

Somewhat similar was Philip Fulmer’s situation at Tennessee which was long and complicated. Like Ray Tanner and Skip Bertman, Philip Fulmer won a National Championship at Tennessee in 1998. He would go on to get fired in 2008. He went to East Tennessee where he became a special assistant to the athletic director. In 2017 Tennessee hired him back to be the AD. (This is not a common scenario in the SEC). Fulmer was effectively forced out as Tennessee’s Athletic Director in 2021, departing shortly after the firing of head football coach Jeremy Pruitt. While framed as a resignation/retirement to allow a new coach and AD to start fresh, it was widely reported as a forced move. He previously was fired as football coach in 2008.

Maybe we need a paradigm shift, we should think more about how we elevate our opponents.

I didn’t see a sense of urgency or any fire from our team today. It looked like they were just going through the motions. I really got ticked off when they hit a double off the wall in RF, Evans hit Sutter with the cutoff throw, the runner from 1st is rounding 3rd, and not one player yells for Sutter, who had his back turned to catch the cutoff, to throw the ball home. It takes him a second to realize to throw home once he turned around, the runner was safe by about a half second. I couldn’t believe the lack of communication and that 3 other infielders just stood there watching the play. If I didn’t know better, it looked like a team trying to lose.

Yep. I understand the upgrade but I bought a case of pillows to cover my a$$ when they boot me out of my seats at the end of this year.
