Completely disagree

I completely disagree with folks who think having Vince on was somehow bad for UK. That’s an absurd mentality and misses the point of radio, which is to entertain. People say all the time you wish folks would confront people about what they say and get them to answer and that’s what we did. Plus it was funny…and he went on record saying he had never lost a recruit to Kentucky, which is ridiculous I respect those who disagree but to me it’s like people who suggest that Dems shouldn’t be on Fox or GOP on MSNBC. More conversation is better than less. One member of the UK FB staff wrote me right after saying a lot of the staff was listening and cracking up. That to me, is the right mentality As for being “blackballed” by UK for it, that’s ridiculous. They understand entertainment is entertainment. We might get blackballed but it wouldn’t be for this reason lol.

Vince is the loser in this situation. Imagine if we had a UK guy go on a Louisville show. Just gave Vince a shovel to continue to dig his own grave.

It's your show buddy - you run it how you see fit. No need to justify who you have on your show. People will complain about everything. I complain that you don't complain enough about Mitch still being the AD.

So why won’t they have members of UKFB staff on the show? Waiting until team finalized or just not going to be on it?

Kentucky folks have gone on UL shows. You just don’t listen to those shows. Stoops, Pope, Cal, Kenny Brooks, etc have all done Louisville shows

The guy got all liquored up on Kirkland vodka and fired off shots at the new regime and then you gave him a platform 12 hours later. And as soon as he gets off the phone he has a retweet saying our coach is the worst in the league. It’s your show and you can do what you want, but prime Matt Jones doesn’t put him on, or if he does eviscerates him throughout the call.

I don't think Vince realizes most of us are laughing WITH the UK staff and KSR, and laughing AT Vince. He loves the attention but some of my UofL friends are already sick of his act and wish he would stop.

You didnt even ask him about Nochta; which was what spurred this whole conversation. I really dont like the guy and dont want to hear from him but would have loved to hear the backstory there. I think maybe you have underestimated how the fans feel about Vince as well. Its pretty universal in my circles that he is extremely disliked.

Our fans grossly overestimate the impact day to day things like this have on UK. There will be 3-4 more things this month that people will try to make detrimental to UK.

Prime Matt Jones worked nonstop to get Jurich and Pitino on during the middle of the Sypher stuff. They just wouldn’t. Interviews with those on the other side who I can disagree with or debate are what I love. It’s just rare people will agree to them with me

You would have handled those was way differently than you did today. You didn’t have the UK/UofL rivalry tone today. You treated Vince like your friend. You would have been non-stop clowning Jurich and Pitino. You just let Vince talk.

Stoops and Cal have never been on pro uofl shows! Stop it lol. It’s fine if you disagree but you’re still in the wrong and you have uofls lead recruiter a platform on the largest sports talk radio show in the state! All time blunder from you!

Vince is my friend. I also said we were going to crush him and laughed at him saying he never lost to Kentucky you just don’t like that I had him on, which is fine. But it is very consistent with how I have always done radio

Most UK fans dont like Vince and dont want to hear from him. I think its as simple as that. Equating it to having any impact on what UK football will do is a leap too far but its all stems from the dislike of Vince.
