Who Shot out of their minds .
whistle was horrible .
Mara’s goaltend was out of the cylinder, they were too weak to overturn their bad call. Then a phantom foul on the inbounds .
Wisconsin played their typical dirty push off / hand check stuff all day and they called it maybe 2 out of 30 times .
We rip that team by 30 most days .
I’d throw that tape in the toilet

Actually, I thought the Badgers looked pretty good. Kids played REALLY HARD. They didn't back down. They shot the lights out.
I guess our definition of "trash" is different. I came away with a little respect for Michigan's opponent.

The defense was in a blender in first part of second half. Yes they made everything but a lot of them were wide open. I suspect the coaches will see a lot of mistakes on defense in that on stretch and late in first half, when yax and Cadeau were in foul trouble.

Its not flukey at all. This is very much an issue that Dusty has had since he arrived.
The lack of adjustments and lazy D has been and will continue to be a problem unless Dusty address it.
This is 3 full games of the same thing and its gotten progressively worse over those 3 games.
This isnt an "oh well" its very much an "oh crap" issue.

Mara goaltend - it looked like his initial touch was clean, then he touched it again when it looked to be over the cylinder. I thought that call looked correct.
The foul late on Cadeau when they both jumped for the ball was garbage.

I don’t see us ripping them by 30 on most days…

Nothing flukey about how awful we were defensively. Even though we did play hard. This is a Dusty problem dating back to last year. You rely on other teams to shoot 3’s - well if they start making them, you need to adjust (I.e. stop drop coverage on P and R’s!). We didn’t and it cost us.

The shooting they had - they won’t do that again all year.
But, a stretch 5 on us (like we did with Mo) is a neutralizer on Mara - to a point where we get forced to pull him.
Loved how we then got more aggressive on the perimeter, but then too much because they turned faarrr too many corners on us.

Dusty taking Cadeau out when he looked like he was taking the game over in the second half was a big mistake, he should have left him in there and used his timeouts and the media timeouts to give him breathers
