Four-star RB Isaiah Rogers commits to Notre Dame

I can’t love this enough!

Man, that commitment stream was roughhhh. But glad he's in the fold! The RB duos that we've been recruiting recently have been fantastic.

Love his video. Great burst and elusiveness.

— Rogers has 10.5 100-meter speed and excellent wiggle. — Has been one of Ja'Juan Seider's top targets from the start of the cycle. — 1,504 yards and with 21 touchdowns as a junior. — Rogers went nearly 2 years without visiting Notre Dame, but his visit this month was elite.

Another strong get at RB for Notre Dame. Rogers and Lathan Whisenton give the Irish two well-built, fast backs. Both can hit the home run and there are some complementary aspects in their running styles. Rogers is a little more of a side-to-side, lateral mover whereas Whisenton is a one-cut downhill runner who looks to get vertical.

Let me be the first to officially say that the ND backfield will soon be known as Mr. Roger's Neighborhood. I also predict that the misspelling of his name as "Rodgers" will conservatively happen 1,000 times.

Watching his film on a couple runs his burst and straight line speed is evident.

The thing people have to remember is that Jeremiyah Love was a 10.5ish 100m guy in high school, so these guys are in that ball park coming out of high school. A couple years of good speed training and coaching up at playing RB from coach Seider and you're looking at serious talent to run behind all those 2-legged road-graders Joe Rudolph keeps bringing in. These aren't scat-backs, people. 200 lbs or so at that size is a guy who can break tackles, and they'll get stronger and better at it with good coaching. We don't know what kind of 40 time either of them run, but it's likely 4.5 or better and can be improved with the right strength and speed work.

On the topic of the video, whoever the staff wants, is who I want. Sounds like he was high on NDs list, even if not the top ranked publicly. And the staff keeps these commits from becoming public and a great job at that. How else do you get a Utube show and 4 articles all within minutes of his commit. Kudos to Blue & Gold! 💚💙🧡🍀🎼

Putting Segarra, Whisenton, Rogers and Lacey in any sort of rankings list would be so hard. All are top notch RBs. Crazy how elite RB recruiting is. ND basically had to call Bin, Segarra, Grant, Lacey, etc and tell them they are full. In March. Seider just needs to keep engaging with Whisenton and Rogers and then work on Cromwell and Jernigan in 28 class. Just need one of those studs.

Seider has been a helluva hire. Things could’ve dropped off after McCollough but we might have actually upgraded. I’m hopeful that Henry will be a similar hire at DB coach.

His first name will be misspelled a bunch as well.

Seider is the better overall coach I think. I really liked Deland but I think Price and Love improved under Seider’s tutelage.
