That’s great. Go sit behind another portal QB
Lane must have convinced the dad it’s open competition with leavitt

The only correct takeaway from this is that Jonas Williams is unbelievably good

Disgusting. The father just ruined this kid's life for a little money upfront. I hope he does well, but all of the "advisors" for this kid should be jailed for the "advice" they gave him.
Just terrible.

Damn. He really did it. What happened to playing time being the main reason?
He will compete to make the CFP but somehow he believes Kiffin will give him more time than CLR was planning to play him I guess.

Someone get me a bookie so I can place a bet that he will enter the portal again after next season lol. Next one after that will be North Texas or Arkansas State.

Longstreet wins the prize for dumbest Trojan transfer so far so congrats I guess.
Your stated reason for not playing for the best QB developer in the country is because you want to play now … so you transfer to a program where you’re almost certainly going to not play now. I just can’t with the nonsense these days.

Pops was full of shite. He supposedly was prioritizing starting and competing for a national championship (not mutually exclusive). He will get neither at LSU. It will take a few years for Lane to get LSU competitive for a championship.

He's not starting in front of Sam Leavitt, who just transferred in from AZ St.

There are questions as to how healthy he'll even be for fall. So in that case, Longstreet does have a better shot for at least real practice snaps than he would have at USC this year.Damn. QB 2 to QB3. Not a good move from HL if you really believe his transfer was about playing time. I am sure LSU threw a bigger bac at him and this just proves someone ) his father was chasing the money. HL isn’t in a better position than what he was at USC. If anything he is in a worse position if anything with a few more bucks in his pocket.

Dad lied the whole time. He doesn’t mind sitting he just doesn’t want to sit at USC. Dad thinks LSU will be more stable then USC in the future.
