If we beat Illinois next Friday...

B10 is ours outright, and a win vs Illinois or Duke with our resume is enough for a top overall seed or at the very least #2 and in the Midwest depending on what happens Saturday, do you sit guys against MSU? As Chippy as those games have gotten and as much of a liability as it is to have anyone on the court with Fears I'm not sure it is worth having everyone out there. Now, I will say I see the odds of Dusty doing this aside from giving guys like Goodman and Kordel a few extra minutes are virtually zero, maybe you see Tschetter, Roddy and Nimari play a little more as well but I'm just what everyone's thoughts are. I get the rivalry and everything that comes along with it but you beat them in Breslin, would have won the B10 and have a #1 seed locked up for a national title run which would be the only goal left for this team.

No, u curb stomp Izzo and Sparty at home on senior day and then slowly sub out our seniors one at a time in the last minute and make Izzo watch the festivities stewing on the sidelines. If you gonna rest anyone, u rest during they big10 tourney. No need to burn our guys out, we will already be a 1 seed so winning tournament doesnt really matter imo. You get rested and ready for the real march madness. Go BLUE

I don't think anyone is resting against MSU unless it's a blowout. The way Izzo acted after the last one, I think they'll do everything to win that game convincingly.

Should they kiss the M logo too? 😁😁😁 Regarding rest, they get a Double Bye. After the B1G Tournament, ideally they would play on Friday (not sure if we know now if Midwest 1 plays Thursday or Friday), but they’d be playing a 16 seed. Rest is important, but it’s not like they’d be facing a dangerous 12-14 seed opponent. I say play your guys…..

Honestly, maybe aside from maybe Yax, our players don't get enough PT. They aren't getting tired playing 18-22 minutes a game. I don't think the MSU game is going to be chippy. Our players don't rise to the bait. They don't give a fuck about MSU.

We go 9 deep so I don’t think rest is really anything anyone needs. I get maybe scaling back to avoid possible injury, but even then, why potentially mess with what’s working in terms of roles and rotations? I think the only shot Illinois has is if Wagler goes off for 35 + (which definitely could happen). Otherwise I expect we’ll win somewhat comfortably. In my opinion, Cason’s development has nudged us into the territory where something has to go wrong for us to lose. If we play well, no one is beating us.

No. Crush msu and hurt their rankings. Maybe it drops them a seed(a win vs Michigan would definitely help their resume) and they possibly end up out west instead. Uncomfortable and more likely to lose earlier making them and Izzo keep looking even more overrated
