The next article after that one is about a Georgetown recruit. John Thompson, Sr. would have loved to see this sentence:

Don’t think we’re getting this one, and it may be a blessing in disguise. With his supposed asking price, I don’t think we can afford to have that much of our salary budget tied up into one player who has some attitude and motor questions.

Who the hell knows but it kind of feels like Self has not told Stokes he is retiring. Hope Bill Self comes back.

If Self stays and we land Stokes, Bill has to let these freshman play big minutes early, let them make their mistakes and develop team chemistry, losses be damned. He has had a history of holding freshmen back who could have breakout seasons, he can't do that with Kinney and Stokes, time to roll the dice.

Adkins could be good big depth. Perry is a project at this point, but has elite defensive skills and is athletic. Think I remember someone say he was pretty bad from 3.

Stokes is Miles Bridges that played at MSU for two years. Stokes is a good player and yes i would take him but depends on the money and how much adidas is paying. Everyone needs to realize that this 26 class is no where near the 25 class. i am hoping Kinney is ready to play next year. i wouldn't be shocked if none of the other 26 recruits play next year.
