As long as it doesn’t happen before his OV to bama I wouldn’t be too worried. The staff can lock him down, now if he still takes an OV to Michigan after, that’s probably not a good sign. If he flips before his OV I wonder if the staff bumps up how early they bring OVs to campus next year. The recruiting calendar seems to be accelerating with other schools making power moves earlier than before. I think the staff may have to factor that in and adjust

I liked Malik more even tho Colt catch radius kinda crazy but this kinda ehh considering idk if we still “lead” for Malik

Colt has mentioned wanting to be used more like a WR than TE. He’d be used as a weapon, but also not only as a pass catcher. He has previously mentioned a few schools have said that he’s be primarily used how he is now- at least that’s what has been sold to him. This one has been up in the air for months, especially with him not visiting since last March (‘25). I get wanting to see other schools, but not making it a priority to get back to UA to meet with the new TEs coach has been pretty questionable. If Lumpris flips, he flips. There are others scheduled to visit within the next month. So Alabama has been prepared one way or the other.
