Pressure is definitely on Golesh

Now that we’re no longer a basketball team. If he fails, all we have left is equestrian and a little hope in Butch. Sad to see it all fall apart in one short year.

Golesh I believe is the real deal. Cohen sorta dumb lucked into him after he completely botched the search. I'm not expecting a playoff birth year 1 but I think he's going to have us pointed in the right direction and we can snag 8 or 9 wins and set a good foundation for the program moving forward. Golesh unlike little Pearl actually had to work and earn his way to where he is and he's worked under some solid names and then took over a program that was a total disaster and brought it back to relevance in year 3. The guy can coach and recruit and will win here.

If football coach feels extra pressure because basketball results the we already got the wrong guy. I don’t get this little hope in Butch bit. He’s at least equaled Baird and I personally believe he has topped him.

I think Golesh has a really solid plan to win and there’s no doubt he and his staff work hard. His biggest obstacles will be overcoming Cohen’s laziness and stupidity and Auburn’s “Aww shucks, the eagle flew good.” mentality.

If this years club lives up to its potential and makes an Omaha run Butch will have definitely surpassed Baird.

The dumb luck comment is so real we probably lucked into the better candidate

I can assure you the only pressure Golesh feels is the pressure he puts on himself to be great every day. Basketball being bad will not affect him. He’s hyper focused on his program. He doesn’t care for emotional things like a fanbase would

I’m 47 and I’ve never been more excited about a head coach in my lifetime….. This dude is going to be the real deal and I believe he’ll be at AU for a long time It’s insanely ironic considering Sumrall was the first choice….we actually lucked out on this hire IMHO

“A little hope in Butch”…. Bro clearly has never kept up with the baseball program. Butch is solid and this is probably the most talented roster we’ve ever had

The thing that gets me about Golesh is that he was legitimately the last candidate I wanted out of the serious candidates listed but now I'm glad we got him because time has shown that he was probably the best of the bunch.

Pressure's on regardless. Football has been bad for far too long. Im sure some have more patience for him, but he's gotta turn things around fast.

Saying we dumb lucked our way into the hire of AG is stupid JC went against what others were pushing for because he knew AG was the right choice Give him some credit since u blame him for everything bad

If Golesh fails, it’s not going to be for lack of trying or effort. It will likely be from lack of support in the people that fund the program

We'll know more once we play a game but I've never been as impressed with the handling of an off-season.

The good news is that in the AAC there is likely as good of a chance for the 4th place HC to be as successful in the SEC as the 1st place HC.
