I lean to Pribula if its cheap to go ahead and spend on DL and Metcalf to get them in the boat. If that ain't happening then keep looking for QB.

Defenses would have a really hard time sitting in 2 or 3 high safety looks with Beau at QB. I think our redzone defense would improve as well. Bringing in Pribula as an insurance policy/bar to set for the freshmen make sense to me.

Hope they're willing to pay Staley/Matthew/Smith more money if they get Pribula... they'll ask for it to stay and sacrifice their stats lol

If the WR’s are that good they should elevate Pribula.

I don’t know what other options there really are. We could go division 2 transfer to provide depth and compete with our young guys, but if Heupel is not decently confident that one of them will be ready then the only real choice is pribula. Because even though he’s not exciting if he had to start he can.

Work the back channels for a QB who isn’t currently in the portal before you settle on Pribula

Man run fast. I think that's legit it. They can't like his ability to throw the football.

If Pribula is the floor, it's a lot higher than some of our competitors situation. He's a vet who brings skills to this offense that is needed. It's not like he's a freaking can of potted meat.

Why not get Pribula and if JA gets a favorable ruling you have upgraded over Meerklinger

Experience in the Big10 and SEC is his advantage. I think you know he’s at least a decent option while the others haven’t shown you anything of significance on Saturdays yet. They could be great… or awful.
