AP Poll Top 25: College Football Rankings see shake up after Week 11

The latest AP Poll Top 25 rankings are here following Week 11 of the college football season and prepare to debate! Based on the results from the weekend, teams are surely going to jump, fall and well, maybe stand pat!
The ACC is eating itself alive, Texas Tech is the new clubhouse leader in the Big 12 and the Big Ten and SEC stayed steady after another thrilling weekend. This is the home stretch people.
So let’s dive into the latest AP Poll rankings following Week 11. We’ll start with the top of the list.
1. Ohio State
Ohio State beat Purdue 34-10 and they haven’t done anything to suggest they’re not the No. 1 team in the AP Poll. The Buckeyes are now 9-0 on the season.
Julian Sayin threw one touchdown and one interception. But, he had 303 yards and just six incompletions, so overall, a solid game again!
2. Indiana

Indiana avoided the upset at Penn State and won in epic fashion. Fernando Mendoza made the throw of his season and Omar Cooper had the catch of the year, all at once! How did he keep that foot in bounds in the back of the end zone?
Either way, the Hoosiers escaped State College with a 27-24 win and remained undefeated at 10-0 on the year. They stay high atop the AP Poll for another week.
3. Texas A&M
Texas A&M won again and also remained undefeated! The Aggies are 9-0 on the season following a dominant 38-17 win over Missouri on the road.
Can Mike Elko’s team win the national title? First would be the SEC, but Texas A&M is on a different level compared to years past.
4. Alabama
Alabama won its eighth straight game to get to 8-1. Although, this win over LSU wasn’t nearly as impressive as some thought it would be.
The defense shut down two different LSU quarterbacks, but Alabama had to rely on Ty Simpson and the passing game with no semblance of a run game Saturday night. They’re still in the top five of the AP Poll though.
5. Georgia

Georgia also improved to 8-1 on the season but is behind a team like Alabama in the AP Poll due to the head to head loss. Still, the Bulldogs ended up dominating Mississippi State after giving up the first score on the opening drive.
Gunner Stockton had another stellar game, throwing for 264 yards and three touchdowns. Georgia now has to take on Texas in a pivotal SEC matchup.
6. Ole Miss (+1)
Ole Miss dominated The Citadel 49-0 in a lackluster game outside of Oxford of course. Still, Trinidad Chambliss threw for 333 yards and three touchdowns.
Heck, Austin Simmons got back in the game at that point! Now, the Rebels have Florida this weekend and will look to keep the good times rolling at 9-1. At least they’re in the top 10 of the AP Poll for another week.

7. Oregon (-1)
Oregon escaped Iowa City with an 18-16 win over Iowa and improved to 8-1 on the season. Dante Moore played at his best when it mattered most.
Trailing late, and the AP Poll certainly would’ve been shaken up, Moore threaded the needle with some of his best throws of the year. It set up the winning field goal and the Ducks and are firmly in the CFP race and not out of the Big Ten title race either.
8. Texas Tech (+1)

Texas Tech cruised to a win over BYU, knocking the Cougars from the ranks of the unbeaten. With that, the Red Raiders moved up in the AP Poll and the Big 12!
The defense was absolutely dominant for Joey McGuire’s crew. QB Behren Morton played well too and this might actually be a national title contender!
9. Notre Dame (+1)
Notre Dame is firmly in the top 10 of the AP Poll with a blowout win over Navy, 49-10, on Saturday. The Irish have won seven in a row at this point.
The College Football Playoff is in reach now. As long as Marcus Freeman and crew finish 10-2, they are probably celebrating another CFP berth and preparing for a run.
10. Texas (+3)
Texas had the week off following a win over Vanderbilt last weekend. The Longhorns are 7-2 on the season and have an improving Arch Manning under center.
But coming up, as they sit in the top 10 of the AP Poll, are at Georgia, vs. Arkansas and vs. Texas A&M. This won’t be easy!
