CBS Sports releases updated bowl, College Football Playoff projections after wild Week 10
The last month of the regular season is off and running, and teams are starting to become bowl eligible. That’s why CBS Sports’ Jerry Palm has shaken up his bowl projections — and his College Football Playoff has a new look after a wild Week 10.
TCU jumped into the top four, with Michigan and USC as the last two out of the CFP field and playing in the Rose Bowl as a result. CBS Sports also projects a rematch of last week’s Georgia vs. Tennessee matchup in the Peach Bowl just a few days after the Bulldogs defeated the Volunteers 27-13 at Sanford Stadium.
A former national championship matchup also highlights CBS Sports’ New Year’s Six projections with Clemson and Alabama projected to play in the Orange Bowl. LSU, meanwhile, has put itself in the national spotlight and CBS Sports has the Tigers playing in the Sugar Bowl against Texas as a result.
