College Football Announcer Schedule: Broadcasters for notable Week 10 games

Saturday, the calendar will flip to November. That means the college football season is entering its final few weeks, and the announcer schedule is out for Week 10.

Some important games are on the Saturday schedule, headlined by a primetime matchup on Rocky Top between Oklahoma and Tennessee. ESPN’s top broadcasters, Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit, will have the call for ABC in what’s billed as a College Football Playoff elimination game.

There are plenty of other notable games, including the late game on Saturday between Cincinnati and Utah. Here is the full Week 10 college football announcer schedule, according to data compiled by 506 Sports.

Penn State at Ohio State

Date/Time: Nov. 1, Noon ET
Channel: FOX
Announcers: Gus Johnson, Joel Klatt

Prior to the season, Penn State at Ohio State seemed like a Big Ten Championship preview, but things have changed in a big way as the matchup approaches. Still, it will get the Big Noon Saturday treatment on FOX, with Gus Johnson and Joel Klatt on the call from Columbus.

Miami at SMU

A crucial ACC matchup is also in the Noon ET window as Miami travels to DFW to take on SMU. The Hurricanes are looking to stay in both the conference and CFP races, while the Mustangs are hoping to avoid a second ACC loss.

Vanderbilt at Texas

Date/Time: Nov. 1, Noon ET
Channel: ABC
Announcers: Sean McDonough, Greg McElroy

Once again, Vanderbilt finds itself in a big game as the Commodores head to Austin for a matchup against Texas. All eyes are on Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning’s health for Saturday’s affair, and he was listed as questionable on the initial availability report on Wednesday.

Indiana at Maryland

Date/Time: Nov. 1, 3:30 p.m. ET
Channel: CBS
Announcers: Brad Nessler, Gary Danielson

Indiana made an emphatic statement last week against UCLA and remains one of the top teams in the country heading into this week’s trip to Maryland. Fernando Mendoza and the Hoosiers will take on Malik Washington and the Terrapins in CBS’ Big Ten game of the week. Brad Nessler and Gary Danielson will be in the booth for it.

Florida vs. Georgia

Announcers: Joe Tessitore, Jesse Palmer

An SEC rivalry game will be part of a loaded 3:30 p.m. ET slot as Florida and Georgia square off in the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party in Jacksonville. It will mark the start of a new era for the Gators, who parted ways with Billy Napier ahead of the bye. Joe Tessitore and Jesse Palmer will have the call for ABC.

Texas Tech at Kansas State

Announcers: Jason Benetti, Robert Griffin III

An intriguing Big 12 game is in the Little Apple on Saturday. Texas Tech bounced back from its first loss of the year with a win over Oklahoma State last week, and the Red Raiders will take on a Kansas State team that has won three of its last four.

USC at Nebraska

Date/Time: Nov. 1, 7:30 p.m. ET
Channel: NBC
Announcers: Noah Eagle, Todd Blackledge

In the primetime window, USC will head to Lincoln to take on Nebraska. The Trojans fell to Notre Dame ahead of the bye and are in search of their sixth win of the year, while the Cornhuskers will try to start November with a statement game at Memorial Stadium.

Oklahoma at Tennessee

Considered a College Football Playoff eliminator, both Oklahoma and Tennessee – with identical 6-2 records – are looking to stay alive in the national race. The Sooners are fresh off a loss to Ole Miss in Norman while the Vols picked up a resounding victory over Kentucky.

Georgia Tech at NC State

One of two remaining undefeated teams in ACC play, Georgia Tech is still very much in control of its own destiny entering Week 10. The Yellow Jackets will head to Raleigh to take on NC State in primetime, hoping to keep the perfect conference record in tact.

Cincinnati at Utah

Night owls will be in for a treat with ESPN’s late game as Cincinnati visits Utah for a crucial Big 12 matchup. The Bearcats are a perfect 5-0 in conference play while the Utes have three wins in their last four games, adding to the intrigue.
