The 2023 NFL draft was just completed a couple of days ago, but it’s never too early to look ahead to 2024.

PFF released its way-too-early 2024 mock draft on Monday and it includes plenty of star power.

PFF has two quarterbacks being drafted in the top 5, including USC quarterback Caleb Williams going No. 1 overall to the Cardinals, via the Texans.

The Cardinals have Houston’s first round pick for 2024 after the Texans traded up to select Ohio State QB CJ Stroud No. 2 overall this past Thursday.

Arizona would be an interesting landing spot for Williams as the Cardinals drafted Kyler Murray No. 1 overall in 2019. Murray’s current deal runs through the 2028 season.

Along with Williams, PFF has Arizona landing Marvin Harrison Jr. at No. 2 overall. The Ohio State star caught 77 passes for 1,263 yards and 14 touchdowns last year. Harrison would have likely been a top 5 pick in the 2023 draft if he was eligible.

The other quarterback PFF has in the top 5 is North Carolina star Drake Maye, who is projected to go No. 5 overall to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

PFF has another Ohio State receiver in the top 10 in its mock draft, with Emeka Egbuka going No. 8 to the Packers.

In addition to Williams and Maye, PFF has two other quarterbacks going in the first round in Washington QB Michael Penix Jr. to the Raiders at 13 and Texas QB Quinn Ewers to the Vikings at 21.

As far as schools, Ohio State leads the mock draft with five players in the first round, followed by USC, Penn State, Alabama and Texas, who all have three players projected to go in the first round.
