Updated 2024 On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings

Through a busy recruiting month of June, the On3 Industry Team Rankings have seen movement up and down the list.

Big commitments for Tennessee and Notre Dame propelled the Volunteers and Fighting Irish into the top 10. Back-to-back defending national champion Georgia remains on top with more five-star recruits than any other school.

In order to create the most comprehensive and unbiased team recruiting ranking, the On3 Team Recruiting Rankings is solely based on the On3 Industry Ranking. The On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings is the most advanced and accurate team ranking in the industry.

The top 25 teams in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings can be found below.

1. Georgia — 94.733

Top Commit: Buford (Ga.) Five-Star Plus+ quarterback Dylan Raiola, No. 2 in the On3 Industry Ranking.

Conroe (Texas) Oak Ridge Five-Star Plus+ linebacker Justin Williams is the fourth five-star prospect to join Georgia’s 2024 class. Clanton (Ala.) Chilton County five-star linebacker Demarcus Riddick may be about to leave this ‘Dawgs group, however. He is set to make a final college decision Wednesday night, choosing between Georgia, Auburn and Alabama.

Georgia brought in the nation’s No. 2 prospect in May after landing a commitment from elite Buford (Ga.) quarterback Dylan Raiola. Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy five-star cornerback Ellis Robinson IV, Raymore (Mo.) Raymore-Peculiar four-star tight end Jaden Reddell and Conroe (Texa) Oak Ridge four-star defensive lineman Joseph Jonah-Ajonye complete Georgia’s group of top-50 commits.

2. Ohio State — 92.925

After a fairly strong June, Ohio State has received two commitments in July. Chicago (Ill.) St. Ignatius five-star defensive lineman Justin Scott kicked off the month with a surprise commitment to the Buckeyes, and Chandler (Ariz.) Basha four-star cornerback Miles Lockhart followed soon after.

Scott is the third five-star recruit to join the Buckeyes’ class in addition to Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna Prep receiver Jeremiah Smith and New Haven (Ind.) wide receiver Mylan Graham. Fairburn (Ga.) Langston Hughes four-star quarterback Air Noland, Cleveland (Ohio) Glenville cornerback Bryce West and San Antonio (Texas) Veterans Memorial running back James Peoples round out Ohio State’s top-100 commits.

3. Florida — 92.358

2 five-stars | 13 four-stars | 6 three-stars | 21 total commits

It has been an awfully busy two months on the recruiting trail for Billy Napier’s staff at Florida. After pulling in double-digit commitments in June, four more recruits have pledged to the Gators in the month of July.

Leesburg (Va.) Tuscarora four-star offensive tackle Fletcher Westphal, Fort Myers (Fla.) Dunbar four-star wide receiver Tawaski Abrams, Gainesville (Fla.) F. W. Buchholz four-star defensive lineman Kendall Jackson and Sarasota (Fla.) Cardinal Mooney three-star cornerback Teddy Foster all joined the Gators this month.

4. Alabama — 92.289

3 five-stars | 8 four-star | 4 three-stars | 15 total commits
Top Commit: Carlsbad (Calif.) Five-Star Plus+ quarterback Julian Sayin, No. 4 in the On3 Industry Ranking.

Alabama is fourth in class score but No. 1 in average rating per commit in the 2024 cycle. The Crimson Tide’s 15 recruits include three five-star prospects and eight additional four-stars. Carlsbad (Calif.) Five-Star Plus+ quarterback Julian Sayin leads the way for the Tide. He is joined by Pinson (Ala.) Clay-Chalkville five-star athlete Jaylen Mbakwe and Foley (Ala.) five-star receiver Perry Thompson.

In July, the Tide have received three commitments. Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei top-100 four-star cornerback Zabien Brown is the highest-rated of those three. Tampa (Fla.) Catholic four-star cornerback Jameer Grimsley and Munich (Germany) three-star linebacker Justin Okoronkwo also pledged to the Tide this month.

5. Michigan — 91.410

Of Michigan’s 26 commits, 17 are four-star recruits. Deerfield Beach (Fla.) four-star EDGE Elias Rudolph and Cheshire (Conn.) four-star EDGE Jacob Smith both pledged to the Wolverines in July.

Cincinnati (Ohio) Archbishop Moeller four-star running back Jordan Marshall headlines Michigan’s class. Marshall chose the Wolverines over in-state Ohio State. Michigan’s two other top-100 recruits are Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day four-star quarterback Jadyn Davis and Rochester (Mich.) Adams four-star tight end Brady Prieskorn.

6. Clemson — 91.396

2 five-stars | 8 four-stars | 7 three-stars | 17 total commits
Top Commit: Midlothian (Texas) five-star wide receiver Bryant Wesco, No. 17 in the On3 Industry Ranking.

Clemson pulled both of its five-star recruits on consecutive days in the month of June. Jefferson (Ga.) five-star linebacker Sammy Brown kicked things off for the Tigers before being followed up by Midlothian (Texas) receiver Bryant Wesco.

The class also includes top-100 Lancaster (Texas) four-star cornerback Corian Gipson — the Tigers’ latest commit. Additionally, Woodstock (Ill.) Marian Central Catholic four-star tight end Christian Bentancur and Tampa (Fla.) Catholic four-star receiver TJ Moore.

7. Penn State — 91.280

Penn State reeled in a pair of four-star recruits this week. On consecutive days, the Nittany Lions received pledges from Brookline (Mass.) Dexter four-star athlete Liam Andrews and Miami (Fla.) Central four-star defensive lineman T.A. Cunningham. Andrews said he plans to play defensive line in college.

Andrews, Quinton Martin and Westford (Mass.) Cheshire Academy four-star tight end Luke Reynolds make up the Nittany Lions’ three top-100 recruits.

8. USC — 91.225

USC has maintained a top-10 class through a quiet July. The Trojans’ last commitment came on the first of the month with Landisville (Pa.) Hempfield three-star defensive lineman Deyvid Palepale.

Xavier Jordan headlines the class, while Long Beach (Calif.) Millikan four-star wide receiver Ryan Pellum, Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco four-star cornerback Marcelles Williams and Gardena (Calif.) Junipero Serra four-star cornerback Dakoda Fields round out the top-100 in the Trojans’ class.

9. Tennessee — 91.180

It has been a busy month of recruiting for Tennessee, propelling the Volunteers into the top 10. Lilburn (Ga.) Parkview five-star receiver Mike Matthews, Akron (Ohio) Archbishop Hoban four-star interior offensive lineman William Satterwhite and Nashville (Tenn.) Lipscomb Academy four-star linebacker Edwin Spillman all pledged to Tennessee in July.

10. Notre Dame — 91.069

Notre Dame just won a huge recruiting battle over Ohio State and USC on Sunday. The Fighting Irish landed Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco four-star linebacker Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa.

In addition to Cam Williams and Viliamu-Asa, Saline (Mich.) four-star quarterback CJ Carr is one of three top-150 recruits in this Irish class.

11. Texas A&M — 91.058

1 five-star | 10 four-stars | 7 three-stars | 18 total commit
Top Commit: Phenix City (Ala.) Central five-star wide receiver Cam Coleman, No. 13 in the On3 Industry Ranking.

Cam Coleman is one of five top-150 recruits to commit to Texas A&M in the 2024 cycle. The list includes Longview (Texas) Pine Tree four-star defensive lineman Dealyn Evans, Silsbee (Texas) four-star wide receiver Dre’lon Miller, Beaumont (Texas) United four-star offensive tackle Weston Davis and Blountstown (Fla.) four-star safety Jordan Pride.

Refugio (Texas) three-star receiver Ernest Campbell and Converse (Texas) Judson four-star safety Myles Davis.

12. Oregon — 90.820

The commitments of Long Beach (Calif.) Poly four-star linebacker Dylan Williams, Los Angeles (Calif.) Los Alamitos four-star linebacker Kamar Mothudi and Pinson (Ala.) Clay-Chalkville four-star offensive tackle Jac’Qawn McRoy have made for a flashy July for the Ducks. Oregon’s class is headlined by Baltimore (Md.) St. Frances Academy top-150 four-star cornerback Ify Obidegwu.

13. Florida State — 90.672

Top Commit: Moultrie (Ga.) Colquitt County five-star tight end Landen Thomas, No. 27 in the On3 Industry Ranking.

The Seminoles have picked up multiple commitments so far this month including Washington (D.C.) Gonazaga four-star EDGE DD Holmes, Olney (Md.) Good Counsel four-star wide receiver Elijah Moore, Palm Beach Gardens (Fla.) Benjamin three-star cornerback Ricky Knight and Phenix City (Ala.) Central three-star safety Red Morgan.

The most recent commits are Pensacola (Fla.) Pine Forest four-star offensive tackle Jonathan Daniels, Tallahassee (Fla.) University School four-star athlete Micahi Danzy and Oviedo (Fla.) three-star offensive tackle Tye Hylton.

14. LSU — 90.663

The state of Louisiana continues to be a recruiting hotbed in college football. 74% of LSU’s class comes from inside Louisiana, including its top-two commits: Jackson (La.) East Feliciana four-star tight end Trey’Dez Green and Denham Springs (La.) four-star safety Dashawn McBryde.

Many (La.) top-150 linebacker Tylen Singleton’s unscheduled commitment last weekend added yet another elite in-state player to the class.

15. Oklahoma — 90.288

Brent Venables’ Oklahoma staff has thus far built a class that consists of six top-300 prospects in Taylor Tatum, Missouri City (Texas) Hightower four-star receiver Zion Kearney, Los Alamitos (Calif.) top-100 tight end Davon Mitchell, Lewisville (Texas) four-star safety Jaydan Hardy, Odessa (Texas) four-star wide receiver Ivan Carreon and Gray (Ga.) Jones County four-star receiver Zion Ragins.

16. Arkansas — 89.680

Missouri City (Texas) Ridge Point top-150 wide receiver Ashton Bethel-Roman bolstered the Razorbacks’ class on the Fourth of July. Pine Bluff (Ark.) Selman Bridges and Wilbur D. Mills four-star defensive lineman Charleston Collins lead the way for the Hogs.

17. Miami — 89.659

Top Commit: Miami (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna Prep four-star wide receiver Joshisa Trader, No. 34 in the On3 Industry Ranking.

Miami’s recruiting win over Ohio State in the battle for Chicago (Ill.) Kenwood Academy four-star EDGE Marquise Lightfoot jumped the Hurricanes into the top 25 at the start of July. Lightfoot was the third top-150 recruit to join Miami’s class after Northport (Ala.) Tuscaloosa County four-star running back Kevin Riley and Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas four-star wide receiver Chance Robinson.

Since then, the Hurricanes added elite top-50 Miami (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna Prep wide receiver Joshisa Trader to the receiver corps.

18. Texas — 89.511

After getting off to a relatively slow start in the 2024 cycle, Steve Sarkisian’s staff has been on a tear on the recruiting trail. Thirteen of Texas’ 15 commits have pledged since the start of June, including Jerrick Gibson.

Orlando (Fla.) Jones three-star defensive lineman D’antre Robinson is the most recent to pledge to the Longhorns. Daingerfield (Texas) four-star receiver Aeryn Hampton joins Gibson at the top of the class after initially decommitting last year.

19. South Carolina — 89.504

Shane Beamer and company have once again begun putting together an impressive class in Columbia. The Gamecocks are in the mix for a number of top prospects and have already received commitments from a pair of top-100 recruits in Dillon (S.C.) four-star offensive tackle Josiah Thompson and Dorchester (S.C.) Woodland four-star offensive tackle Kam Pringle.

Pringle, Savannah (Ga.) Calvary Day four-star tight end Michael Smith and Marietta (Ga.) Walton four-star EDGE Wendell Gregory all joined the class in January, giving South Carolina an electric start to the 2024 cycle.

20. Auburn — 89.021

Top-150 recruits Joseph Phillips and Little Rock (Ark.) Christian Academy quarterback Walker White headline Auburn’s relatively small 2024 class. The Tigers have received three July pledges from Pinson (Ala.) Clay-Chalkville three-star linebacker D’Angelo Barber, Pike Road (Ala.) three-star defensive lineman Malik Blocton and Lilburn (Ga.) Parkview four-star cornerback Jalyn Crawford.

21. Nebraska — 89.005

Top Commit: Ainsworth (Neb.) four-star tight end Carter Nelson, No. 58 in the On3 Industry Ranking.

The commitment of four-star tight end Carter Nelson was the news of the month of June for Huskers fans. Matt Rhule has put together an already large class through mid-July in what has been his first cycle as head coach in Lincoln.

Waipahu (Hawaii) top-300 four-star interior offensive lineman Preston Taumua is the latest recruit to commit to Nebraska.

22. Stanford — 88.722

Top Commit: Avon (Conn.) Old Farms four-star defensive lineman Benedict Umeh, No. 78 in the On3 Industry Ranking.

Stanford’s class has no shortage of commits, to say the least. The Cardinal have already secured pledges from 28 recruits in the 2024 class, including top-100 defensive lineman Benedict Umeh.

Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei top-150 quarterback Elijah Brown committed to Stanford in mid-June along with 22 more of Stanford’s 28 commits. The ridiculous month of June launched Stanford into the top-25 after finishing No. 42 in the 2023 On3 Industry Team Rankings.

23. Wisconsin — 88.694

Luke Fickell’s first full cycle so far has Wisconsin sitting in the top 25 in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings. Royersford (Pa.) Pope John Paul II four-star offensive tackle Kevin Heywood committed in June.

Six recruits have pledged to the Badgers in July: Saint Paul (Minn.) Irondale four-star interior offensive lineman Emerson Mandell, Chicago (Ill.) Mount Carmel three-star running back Darrion Dupree, Philadelphia (Pa.) St. Joseph’s Prep three-star cornerback Omillio Agard, Honolulu (Hawaii) Farrington three-star EDGE Anelu Lafaele, Joilet (Ill.) Catholic three-star defensive lineman Dillan Johnson and the class’ top recruit Dilin Jones.

24. Texas Tech — 88.509

Cheta Ofili sits atop the Red Raiders’ 2024 group after committing in April. Prosper (Texas) four-star offensive tackle Ellis Davis, Hutto (Texas) four-star quarterback Will Hammond and Pflugerville (Texas) Weiss four-star safety Peyton Morgan bolster Texas Tech’s No. 1 Big 12 class.

25. Purdue — 88.268

Purdue had a busy end to June with seven commitments coming after June 20. The Boilermakers picked up Koy Beasley in addition to Lake Dallas (Texas) four-star wide receiver Keonde Henry, Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas three-star cornerback Earl Kulp, Saint Petersburg (Fla.) Clearwater Central Catholic three-star athlete Shamar Rigby, DeSoto (Texas) Parish Episcopal three-star defensive lineman Caleb Mitchell, Englewood (Colo.) Cherry Creek three-star interior offensive lineman Max Parrott and Brownsburg (Ind.) kicker Spencer Porath.

The Boilermakers’ latest commitment comes from East Saint Louis (Ill.) three-star safety Leontre Bradford.
