4-star OT Aaron Dunn commits to USC

USC has landed a commitment from Spanish Fork (Utah) four-star offensive tackle Aaron Dunn, per On3’s Hayes Fawcett.

Dunn decommitted from Utah earlier this week after initially pledging to the Utes on Aug. 8.

Dunn took an official visit to Southern Cal on May 31 before also taking OVs to Utah and Oregon.

“I saw everything that I need to reach my goals,” Dunn said following his official visit in June. “The program is heading and a good direction and I would love to be a part of it.”

Dunn’s father Greg spoke about head coach Lincoln Riley, offensive line coach Josh Henson and others as well.

“You got a lot of sunshine,” the elder Dunn has said. “It’s LA. You got a really, really good coaching staff. Lincoln Riley is a younger coach. In the last decade he’s coached three Heisman Trophy winners. You have to have a good offensive line protecting that quarterback. And good skill positions. Josh Henson is an awesome o-line coach and really, really good guy. The whole coaching staff at USC is amazing and the campus is out of a movie. I guess that’s why they film so many movies on their campus. It’s all those things and there’s really nothing not to like about USC.”

The 6-foot-7.5, 288-pound Dunn is the nation’s No. 223 overall prospect in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is the No. 18 offensive tackle in the class and the No. 2 recruit from Utah.
