Oregon State WBB Bracketology 2/10
With the Oregon State women’s basketball team (17-8, 9-3 WCC) sitting atop the WCC Conference with six games remaining in the regular season, BeaversEdge takes a closer look at the latest Bracketology to see where the Beavers are projected to be in the postseason.
Oregon State is back in action Thursday at Gill Coliseum with a matchup against Santa Clara (18-7, 8-4).
ESPN – Charlie Creme
Oregon State – Missing The Field
In the latest ESPN projection from Charlie Creme, Gonzaga has overtaken Oregon State for the lone NCAA berth from the WCC Conference. With OSU’s two losses this past week to Gonzaga and Portland, the Beavers have slipped from 1st in the WCC to a tie for second with LMU.

What The WCC Tournament Bracket Will Look Like

Considering that the WCC automatic NCAA Tournament qualifying berth is awarded to the WCC Tournament Champion, not the regular season champion, Oregon State still sits in a fortuitous position. With how the WCC lays out the bracket, being one of the top two teams in the conference is a massive advantage in playing your first game in the semifinals and only needing two wins to make the Big Dance.
