Late Tuesday night, Bryce Dixon took to Instagram to announce his commitment to Louisiana Tech.

Dixon, a 6’5″ shooting guard from The Colony High School in The Colony, Texas, is a Class of 2026 recruit.

On why he chose Louisiana Tech, Dixon told BleedTechBlue.com: “I chose Louisiana Tech because the coaching staff is very family oriented and that’s what I was looking for in a coaching staff. Coach Hestor plays freshman if you’re ready so that stuck out to me, I want to be able to touch the court as quick as possible in college. My mom and I also felt the same positive vibe we felt when I went on my unofficial visit which also impacted the decision. They have also been there from the beginning and stuck by me, they never gave up on me no matter if I had a bad game or great game, that means a lot especially with the program being as good as they are.”

Dixon chose the Bulldogs over offers from Cal, Illinois, Mississippi State, UTEP, UC Santa Barbara, Abilene Christian, UT Arlington, North Texas, and Sam Houston State.
