How to Watch, BetSaracen odds: No. 14 Arkansas vs. No. 8 Houston
The No. 14 Arkansas Razorbacks (9-2) are on the road for their final marquee matchup of the non-conference slate and will play the No. 8 Houston Cougars (10-1) at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, on Saturday.
Arkansas is on a four-game win streak, with the most recent win coming on Tuesday. The Hogs dispatched the Queens Royals with ease, 108-80, at Bud Walton Arena. Six Razorbacks finished with double-figure scoring and Trevon Brazile led the way with a career-high 26 points.
Now, the test ramps up. The Cougars are one of the strongest defensive teams in the country and boast the No. 7 defensive efficiency rating according to KenPom. Houston forces an average of 15.6 turnovers per game, which ranks 32nd among Division I teams.
”Very well coached, but the main thing is that they play hard, they fight no matter who they playing,” Arkansas guard D.J. Wagner said of Houston on Wednesday. “So we know we’re going to have to go out there and fight no matter what.”
